We stored our stuff for almost 2 years as we moved and built. The spring thaw of 2020 flooded our units. We complained and they promised to fix it. We stayed. The winter of 2020/2021 brought poor grounds keeping. They snow plowed right down the middle of the roadway pushing a bunch of snow right up to the doors. It froze hard and we could not get into our units. The ice was bad and my son slipped and hit his face hard leaving a big bruise and scratch. Spring thaw brought another flood. The water went half way up both the units. Dressers, filing cabinets and matresses were in standing water. We sent in a complaint. Someone did call us to tell us that they had received our complaint and were working with management to see what they could do to help us out. Didn't hear back from them for 4 months. When we finally did hear back from them, it was a letter informing us that our rates would be going up. Not what I call good service. ... Read more

Grandview storage has been a lifesaver for me. My family and I have gone through quite a bit the last 2 years. There happened times that we we're unable to pay our bill. Grandview storage never closed our units, Grandview storage did their best to help us get on our feet. I really can't explain my gratitude towards them. The storage units are safe and enclosed with the protection of a locked gate. There is surveillance as well and every unit has the surveillance protection. They're kind and they're courteous and they keep the area clean. But most of all they have amazing hearts and they bless my family so much! I think that they have the best value for your back as well. Thank you Grandview storage for everything that you've done for us! Lindsey and Adam Wise ... Read more

I would give mpre stars if I could. Audrianna with Grandview storage is the nicest person I know. She understands we go through hard times and will always work with you. Not like these other places where they will lock your stuff up and sell it for one miss payment. Its a nice place and we'll secured and monitored. This is the place you want to rent from. ... This place is a joke! They told me if I paid 3 months at a time I could get a discount. I paid and in the third month of renting they charged my card the amount that I was to save. I told them to reverse the charge and that even though I still had a full month left I was no longer going to be using them but I wanted the money returned to my account. So they call me later to tell me that I couldn’t have the money returned because I didn’t give them a 10 day notice. I still had a full month left paid for! Don’t believe anything they say, they lie about everything. Worst rental space in Idaho falls, don’t trust anyone who works there. I would give zero stars but that wasn’t an option. ... Read more

Renee has always been so friendly to me and my significant other and any issues we have had, she has always been a pleasure to deal with when trying to correct them. She has been willing to work with me as long as i stay in contact With her and keep her updated. I think that is admirable and very much appreciated! Great place and great management. Not to mention they’re 24 hours :) ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
