Our property manager has been great to work with. She’s attentive, approachable, and always makes sure things are taken care of around the property. You can really see the difference over the past year—everything looks cleaner, more organized, and well-maintained. DO NOT USE THESE UNITS! The units themselves would be easy for anyone to access your items, as there is a large gap above and beneath the unit "door"- and the last time we tried to bring stuff to our unit, we went in the middle of business hours, THE SIGN IN THE DOOR SAID OPEN, BUT NO ONE WAS THERE. When we called the number, they tried telling us that we weren't there during business hours. We are moving our stuff out ASAP. ... Read more

I would advise anyone having work of 'any kind' by anyone there...to be-ware. These are storage units, and if the individual(s) doing work there, become in arrears, the unit is locked up, and you will lose access to personal stuff. In my case, involving an auto licensed to me, it is a gray area. It is still to be resolved, but the owner has NO reasoning when it comes to unsuspecting third parties. BUYER BEWARE, pretty shady goings on. ... Read more

****** DO NOT RENT A SPACE HERE****** We rented a unit on 10/15/2019. Unit 62 paid by check $115 1 mo and deposit.when I signed the contract they had my email address and my cell number and my address that hadn't changed in over 5 years. It was set up that the monthly charges would be deducted automatically with the check/account used to start the contract.Due to health reasons we chose to sell our home and moved in with our son and his family. Since we weren't ready for the belongs yet in October we purchased a unit.. We went in and out several times retrieving things the last time was may getting my husband's custom wheel chair. 7 months after we rented the unit all was fine...I had no idea funds were not getting paid for the unit. A simple phone call, email, text or even letter letting me know there were billing issues or that they planned on gutting emptying my unit. I never heard a word if there was any issues with regards to payments/billing or concerns of abandonment . I have another unit in rexburg for 4 years now with auto payment that is right on top of things if my card on file expires or payment doesn't clear she is right there to let me know via phone call, letter or email. None of which has changed in last 5 years. So in May our belongings had been in the storage for 7 months and not a word from storage regarding billing matters or the lack there of..I go in to our unit 2 weeks ago and ALL OUR BELONGS!!!! 40 YEARS WORTH GONE!!!! MANAGER KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE BUSINESS COULD EVEN FIND MY CONTRACT!! SHE JUST FILLS OUT CONTRACTS AND DOES NOTHING ELSE WITH THE COMPANY THE OWNER FORWARDS PHONES TO MANAGER AND LEAVES TOWN OFTEN FOR DAYS!!!!!We called IFPD to list this as grand theft. We are hoping and praying owner comes back to town soon and has our belongings somewhere!!!! Richard Lowe/Owner takes files from the office and manager has no clue!! If the building burns down while he is off on his many lengthy hunting trips that he forwarded all calls to the useless manager so she can't contact him , well the building will burn!! THE OWNER couldn't be reached even in an emergency!! THE video surveillance only works at the front gate!! They say they are open M - F 12:30 to 6 but try getting into you unit if you need assistance try getting someone to answer the phone and pray they have an answer or even bother to answer the phones!!! A very poor way to run a business where the owner can just come in and take files out of the office and leaving managerclueless!!! ... Read more

Bought a 5th wheel and needed storage. Most places charge over $100 per month. This place only $35. Found out why. This place is totally unsecured. No fence on the South side. People can walk in from Lincoln. I found my unit broken into with everything of value taken. Stripped clean with the doors bent, broken and left open. $100 per month is too much, but $35/mo is too much if you're leaving your unit out for the spoils of thieves. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that AAA Affordable Woodruff Storage - 1808 North Woodruff Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
