Byerly installed my garage doors about 15 to 16 years ago. My wall pad quit working today and I called and ask the woman how I could get it replaced. She said she would have Tom call me. About 1/2 hour later, he called and I told him what was happening and he said he would see if he had one in stock. About an hour later he was at my door and came in and replaced it. And he didn't charge an arm and a leg to fix it !!! All this was in a time frame of under 2 hours. I truly wish this company would come into the 21st century and offer the ability to pay for a storage unit rental with a credit card or debit card but this small town business is stuck in times long past and they only accept cash. I would have saved so much money on late fees if this company had a simple website that would allow you to make payments there. Instead, every month I have to schlep myself into their offices and pay my cash or check -which I would trust far less than a credit card company or a bank account debit card. Still, the place is clean, although I can only guess to how secure it is as the front gate is constantly open and apparently a security code has been deemed unnecessary. Because of their payment policy, I've been deliquent on our monthly bill several times. I asked for a receipt the last time I fell behind on my payment and in the personal information section there was a note which said something like "Always pays late. Do not rent to this person!" which I found rude and unnecessary. Maybe if they would upgrade their 20th century business to actually operate in the present 21st century and allow payments online and by card, it wouldn't be an issue for either of us. The rental equipment was in poor condition. We rented a large tent, heaters, chairs and tables. The tent was beaten up. We had to buy drapes to cover the walls. The walls were not secured so they flapped in the wind until we secured them. The heaters didn’t light. We had to work for hours and bought parts to get them started. The chairs and tables were dirty. Some of them were covered with mud. We had to clean all of them. Poor communication. We could not reach anyone the night before or the day of the event. We followed up multiple times with the manager after the event. The owner was making the decision but never called us. The owner sent a check for less than half of what it cost us just to cover the walls. The amount was insultingly small. I continue to call but no response from the owner. Overall, I would not recommend because of poor quality rental equipment and poor customer service. ... Read more

This company has poor communication skills and does not respond to emails in a timely fashion, if at all. They dropped my chairs off at the venue a day early with no notifications at all. Despite having my coordinator's info, they did not ask to speak with him upon drop off. The chairs were filthy, as many other reviews state. They redelivered the chairs the next morning, once again not speaking with the coordinator. They were a bit cleaner but still not great. We would have had him just take the chairs back but without him stopping to speak with someone, it wasn't possible. We did not use the chairs and would not use this company again. Byerly Limited is a Fabulous group of people to work with. We highly recommend them! A big tent was our first thing to book and make our family farm wedding date official. We got a 60 x 90 tent with beautiful window sides, tables & chairs for 250 people, and an extra large 16x32 dance floor. The customer service with this company is top notch and all their rentals were so kept up and clean. We are huge fans of Byerly tent rental!
