DO NOT RENT FROM THIS FACILITY! YOUR ITEMS MAY COME UP MISSING! ITS ASSUMED THAT IT WAS THEIR STAFF! They decided to change people’s locks without permission or notice. When we asked why they did so they said for “maintenance.” When they removed OUR LOCK THEY DECIDED TO HELP THEMSELVES! They stole so many important items belonging to my fiancé’s dead mom. They stole items that belonged TO MY CHILDREN! They stole clothes and fishing poles. They broke an antique crock pot. They were savages and took hundreds of dollars worth of items. We called the police to inform them of the theft, an officer showed up and told us that due to the theft happening when the lock was changed it was an inside job. They told us it is a civil matter and to take them to court. He said they are liable because it happened under their SECURITY AND BEHIND THEIR LOCKED DOORS! MIND YOU! THEY RAISED THE PRICE OF THE UNITS MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE YEARS FOR THIS SUPPOSED SECURITY THEY HAVE! Yet no one from this facility reached out to my fiance to offer any insight into who the thieves were. They offered no camera footage or really had anything to say on how it happened yet this facility wants you to trust them with your valuable items. What good are the cameras if they aren’t used to stop or catch crime? But you’ll be charged and told when the price increases yet again that it’s to help with the security and cleanliness of the facility. Another thing I can’t stand about this place is when you go to talk to someone no one is behind the desk. We went numerous times to get the combination for the lock they put on our storage unit and no one was ever in the office. There was always a white suv in the parking lot but no worker to be found. My fiance would walk all over that building and never cross paths with a worker. When we called customer service they couldn’t even give us the lock combo, they said whoever put the lock on the unit never put the combo info in the account. That’s crazy that this place is ran so unprofessionally. We had our items stored here for 5 years and this is what our loyalty got us… stolen from. We paid over those years thousands of dollars to them and they can’t even call us to resolve the issue financially outside of filing an insurance claim. Which I understand there is protocol but for a lot of the items we have no receipts because it’s been years since we’ve purchased them. We trusted this company to do their due diligence in protecting our items and they fell short. To me after all these years they should just offer our insurance payout because it was their failure. They did not secure our items from their own workers. It’s mind boggling. The OWNER can respond with the HR response and say all the rhetoric they want to to make it seem like they did their job and yada yada but the proof is in the pudding. My fiance left a review with the pic of what they did. I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE AS I STATED BEFORE WE HAD OUR ITEMS HERE SINCE 2021! WE WERE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THEY WERE HONEST AND HAD INTEGRITY, THEY DO NOT! ALSO WE REMOVED OUR ITEMS A MONTH AGO AND THEY WERE STILL TRYING TO CALL FOR PAYMENT MEANWHILE THE UNIT DOOR HAD BEEN WIDE OPEN SINCE MY FIANCE CLEANED AND CLEARED IT AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE! THE LOCK WAS LEFT IN THEIR MAILBOX. STILL DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE YET YOUR ITEMS ARE SECURE THERE! What a joke! ... Read more

The facility that I rented a unit from is pretty well kept the Price is Right and it's climate controlled but I will say this someone needs to repair the carts and they need a better system when you're moving stuff in it's difficult to go in and out the door but I'm satisfied and I really can't complain ... I had a great little unit.. access easy. Shortly after I rented it they closed the on site personal, all contact via offsite representative. Autopay .. then the cost kept raising and finally another raise in rent and added thier Insurance. . They no longer recognize my homeowners policy as valid. So from $10 per to $58.. It was convenient till it became expensive. And there always seemed to be people parked in lot watching as I accessed my unit. ... Read more

Won’t rent here again. My unit has been empty for a week. The rent still came out and I was told I wouldn’t get a refund. That’s ridiculous. I have family who rent here to and will be moving out as well ... Read more

I’ve been 2-3 days late on my payment I communicated with them and they told me that my gate code would not work but as soon as I paid my storage bill it would unlock. Which made sense and I paid like I promised. I’ve had it for going on 9 months now and haven’t had any issues. I don’t go to it much but like the fact that it’s climate controlled and for the most part easily accessible. The facility is clean and bathrooms have always been kept up. ... Read more

Leased a storage unit for $10 and I guess there was a promotion of some sort of that time, that ended and the now they charge $40 for it. Called manager, he agrees with me, they do that to fill units and then know it's to hard to move out so some HAVE to stay and they make there money off the screwing of there customers. I recommend going elsewhere to an actual honest facility. To bad these awful and unmoral buisness practices are being used by Storage of America. ... Read more

They just raised my rate on a small unit an additional $62 per month. That is a huge increase all at once & they only give you 30 days notice. This is after they forced us all to go to automatic payments last year. UPDATE: I received a call from Storage of America & the emails that went out were a mistake and they will be sending out emails with an increase of a couple dollars per month. As per the reply that Storage of America made to my original review, the information is incorrect. The current price on their website is $27 for a 5'x5', not $93. So you probably should check your info before posting it here. ... Read more

I was a week an half late on payment. Instead of placing their lock (red lock) beside mine like they did with several other units, they cut my lock off first and then put their lock on it.. after I paid my dues, they email the padlock combination and then I go there notice they cut my lock off and then noticed my gun case was missing. The case was in plain view when you open my unit and I had a padlock on the case, so I’m guessing whoever would have thought there was stuff in the case, but thankfully I had it empty at the time. Still waiting for someone to get back with me about this an a reasoning why my lock was cut off and no one else’s was…. **(pictures of my lock that’s cut off and other units that the facility placed the red lock beside the owners lock)*** ... The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
