Been over a week and the keypad for the indoor facility is still offline. I've seen the door propped open which is both poor security and defeats the purpose of climate control. Today I have things to put in my unit and I cannot access it. Unacceptable. 5 days later. Still not working. ... Read more

**Updating my review** As previously mentioned, the facility is clean with easy access and simple account management. I can now follow up that the site managers are active and attentive to concerns and followed up to my previous review personally. They were able to make adjustments to satisfy my concerns. My only caution is to be prepared for yearly rate hikes. However, I can't say if they are any worse than other storage places in the area because I haven't needed to change. Public Storage reacted and took care of me before I could even make a call. Very much appreciated. ... Read more

If I could give a 0-start review I would... A non-profit that I'm associated with has rented a 10x15 unit at this location for YEARS. Our initial monthly rental cost has increased to 3x to 4x the initial cost with no explanation. Attempting to talk to anyone about this is a nearly futile. The automated phone system offers to connect you to the "location manager" which goes to a disconnected number. The only way to get a "real person" was to call and select the option to rent a new unit and then ask for customer service. When speaking with customer service they offered to decrease the rental rate for our 10x15 unit from $420/month to $340/month. I personally pay less than half that for a 10x15 unit in Zionsville. When I asked to talk with the "location manager", I was transferred to the 9th and Illinois Public Storage office in INDIANAPOLIS (at least 1/2 hour drive away). That person said they currently had 10x15 units IN THE SAME LOCATION for $120/month or so but could not decrease pricing on our specific unit any further (?). When I asked why the difference in pricing for equivalent units at the same location, the manager could only say that was what the system was telling her. After a short further conversation, she hung up on me. Stay FAR FAR away from this company as they put no value on the customer. You are a commodity that is apparently subjected to some kind of "market pricing" scheme where your unit price is set by some computer algorithm that evaluates your unit cost on a monthly basis. When the price becomes more than you're willing to pay, the company doesn't care and is happy to wave good-bye to you as you're going out the door. ... Read more

Just missed a $500 load today because the gate would not open. Waited 2 hours and had my load canceled because I didn't make the pick up time. I jave 3 trucks parked here and pay just about 400 a month for parking and now I missed a $500 day is ridiculous. We will see how this gets resolved because I need a credit or some type of compensation for missing work. Also how can I trust this will.not keep happening I could possibly lose my contract behind missing loads because I am not able to access my vehicle ... Read more

Easy-peazy! From start to finish, handled everything online and unit is exactly what we needed. Lock and insurance brochure in unit upon arrival. Move-in was fast and efficient even connected with Jasmine on the phone when PS followed up a few days later and she was able to quickly answer all my questions. ... Read more

I reserved a unit and decided before even moving in not to go with Public Storage. Every number I have tried is disconnected, you can’t chat online and I cannot go in person. They have now charged my card for a unit I don’t even use. Customer service for the corporation needs to be reevaluated. It is not helpful at all. I’ve resorted to a google review to hopefully get someone’s attention. ... Read more

Robin has been amazing helping me get a unit while still in Tennessee. My daughter is the one to set it up for me the day I moved up there. It went so well and smoothly. The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.
