I rented for over a year, the thought of emptying a 10 by 10 renting a truck then looking for another place was just as bad as having the rent increase the next month only been there maybe 1/2 month. Then to top it all off called to inform them I was moving out. They gave instructions of what to do that's ok, but then I asked about a refund since I was being out and they just received my autopayment not even within 24 hours. I was told yes, I waited called back was then told no, so why tell me yes since I was only there less than 24 hours of them taking my money out of the bank. The lady said she was going to put in for a refund: me so I am getting a refund, lady yes they will process refund. Today no refund. Move in rent went up almost $40 Move out 1 day after pymt, did not honor their word. Never again ... Read more

This place is a disaster. The entrance gate is always open as its always broken. The buildings are damaged. There are huge gaps to the outside around the doors that go into the climate controlled hallways. The hallways smell moldy and musty. The climate controlled areas arent cold and are extremely humid. Bugs everywhere. The dumpster is always overflowing with trash and the cameras have all been spray painted so they can't see. There is no on site staff. The bushes at the entrance are overgrown. This place is just absolutely filthy and disgusting. We ended our lease here after only three months and took our things to a better place. Do not store your things at this location if you value them. ... Read more

DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT HERE. I first rented a unit here 15 years ago when it was locally owned. Since then, this facility has been sold twice. Each new owner raised the rent multiple times. The introductory rates are reasonable, but after 15 years of loyalty I was forced to pay over $400 per month. I talked to the property manager, but they were not authorized to change the rent prices. When looking for a storage facility, find one that is locally owned, with an on-site property manager. ... Read more

It was some time September 2024 when I first rented from Storage Rentals of America I only rented for 1 month as soon as I realized the bad reviews, my stomach sank am not gonna leave my car or bike I think the owner is stealing from people or a robber has permission do so. Not really how I would run a profitable business but hey do what works for you I guess...?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ... Read more

This company just acquired my storage unit. I was on automatic payments when they decided to just not take out my payment didn't tell me and then try to steal all the stuff in my unit. It's literally 6 days after when they usually take my payment out so I didn't notice that they didn't. What a dirty practice. Would have been nice to know automatic payments would need to be set up again. So is this place just stealing everybody's stuff so they can turn around and re-rent the units to other people? Do not rent here if you value keeping your belongings. I will make sure everybody knows how horrible a business this is. ... Read more

Place was very clean. I had trouble getting the lock off the first day as I buy storage units at auction. The guy I spoke with was very helpful and very calm lol. He also extended my stay by almost a week because of the weather. I am very impressed by the customer service and the experience as a whole. ... Read more

I would not recommend renting from this storage facility even if you had no other options. This place is horrible. I had a unit here for over 4 hrs which started out fine because there were different owners. ( Aunt Betty’s ) However, things changed as soon as new owners took over. Let me start with their rates. I moved in at $60 a month within six months i was already receiving notification that my rent was increasing by $35 and that continued throughout the whole duration of me renting from them. I just recently moved because my rent was up to $265 for a 5x10. Not to mention their gates never work properly. They stood open for over 6 months so anyone could just stroll in. When calling anyone you talk to was super rude! Several units were broken into and they did not send out emails letting tenants know. They charge for parking if you leave a vehicle there. Those vehicles had catalytic converters stolen off them. Again, no notification. They allow people to live in the units. If you call to make your payment that is a whole ordeal in its self. This place is a dump! I could go on! But i will leave it at this! Don’t not rent from this place period! It is trash!! I’m trying to save someone from the headache i dealt with. ... Read more

I'm supposed to be paying for a 24-hour secured unit, however the entrance gate has a chain around it with a lock holding the gate open and the exit gate is now broken and also standing wide open. And there is no one to get a hold of to do something about it. You get a total run around in circles on the phone. ... Read more
