Trying to find an available storage unit in the Kokomo area wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. After calling around and getting irritated that a couple of places wouldn't or never would call you back, I called Stearns Mini Warehouse where the woman in the office was very kind and even waited for us after hours to come out and sign the lease. You don't have 24 hr availability to enter your unit, but that's a good thing after she explained why. She said they tried that and it only brought the riffraff in, which makes sense. Still you can enter your unit 7 days a wck with set times. Between the security, price and the customer service I believe this is one of the best places to rent a storage unit in Kokomo Indiana. ... Stearn’s is an amazing family owned business. The owners and workers are very polite and professional and they do a great job running the place. The rates are great and the grounds themselves are always very clean. The storage units are I’ve rented were always in great shape and I’ve never had any problems with leaks! Besides being a loving family owned business, it's a business of bright minded individuals aiming to suit the needs of the customers who occupy their storage units. I've had no complaints from this business and they are always looking to improve even where it may not be needed. With massive units allowing the storage of trucks, household furniture, and other odds and ends, to small units meant for housing bikes and antiques they seem to always have enough room for any occasion. The security is accurate as well, with staff on standby to come and assist if needed. With both cameras that can be viewed at any time, and a scanner that catches every key card used at the main gate (which is the only way into the storage area unless you climb the gate in front of the cameras.)
