If I could rate this place a 0 star I would, I have had nothing but headaches with their property and management. I've rented from numberous storage units through the years and none have given me as much frustration as Storage Sense. Getting ahold of a manager ahead of time to ask about viewing the units in person required 6 phone calls, 2 voice mails and several messages before hearing back, I finally bit the bullet and rented a 10x20 unit, only to find the door is 8' 7" and roughly only 17' long. My trailer is 8' 6" wide which makes this unit extremely challenging for my needs. The industry standard is 9' for doors typically, Additionally all the 10x20 unit are on a steep grade, so for my situation I was forced to reverse my trailer in the unit rather than pushing it, given 1" clearance on each side and the grade it usually takes 15-20 minutes. The phone activated locks on each storage unit are the worst to use, took about 5 minutes minimum to open every time, I finally said screw it and bought my own key lock. I tried to get their automatic lock back to them so I don't loose it but was given very weird times of the day to get it back to the manager which was not possible with my work. After my first month of renting the place I found out my autobill was setup incorrectly, my fault however the day IMMEDIATELY after the bill was posted and I didn't make payment I was charged a $30 late fee, and was immediately locked out of the storage unit. I was forced to pay the late fee to gain access to my unit, only to find after I paid I still had to called customer support for them to unlock the gate remotely. Getting the late fee removed was a pain, for a first time renter with their property it offered no lee way and I've called their customer service line 10 times in the span of a month and a half. The following month to make payment on the next month's bill cycle I had to call in as the app would not allow me to make a payment on either my phone or computer. Extremely frustrating. As soon as my month is up I don't plan to be back. Place is ridled with useless technology and a manager who doesn't put effort to address my concerns ... Read more
