The customer service representative never said under her breath never hinted I was a slow guy at connect in the dots on how to do the signage on final 3 steps but her walk through was easy her patience incredible amazing she had so much patience that if she where a primary care physician. she would be a book author. host a nationally sindicated talk show . also have a world record for the most customers umm error . WORLD RECORD FOR MOST PATIENCE ! News flash ?? if she quits her job the CEO should quit . the owner founder should sell off move on be done. because finding another employee like this one is more than 100% impossible. This employee could be the president of a country or corporation . But as a humble person she is she took this position She is a priceless employee and dedicated more than you can know. Time will tell but if she decides to stay on I see her as future CEO. hey congratulations on having one of the best customer service reps one could ever dream of. Attention Advice Alert : look up how she found her way to be employed there and if it's a job placement service send the a personal mail person card of thanks ???? and keep that source open ! Thanks so much if I knew it was like all that I would have not did the phone on line www walk through. But having said that my self esteem is ????? like way off the charts. I said to myself wow I can do that ... Read more

Not happy but our is what it is. Not like anyone did crap about it. Paid ahead for a 5x10 unit. Ended up getting there the day of getting my truck down the tiny driveway.... unit had sleepless personal luck but the next to it was unlocked... 99 degrees plus out ... someone else was already ahead of me in another car and I'm in the sweltering heat after packing amd moving my recently departed grandmother's entire apartment at 47 years old and disabled.... arguing in the phone about the available units. I'm not sure what made this unit premium as its ceiling was hanging a bit .. it's not climate controlled .. just a not the size I had rented. Education again is not my fault. Lay on phone refuses to discount the unit and offers me one on another tiny alleyway after we've started un unboxing truck... we figured it's a simple mistake of numbers and it's 100 degrees and it was helllishly tight getting a 15 ft box truck down this alleyway. After arguing on phone forever it seemed show tells me no discount for their mistake that the unit I'm trying to use is 76 not the original 23 dollars I either could move all my things back into the truck and fugitive or how to back it out and get down another tiny alleyway. Or pay the remainder for the super basic yet somehow premium unit.... literally couldn't tell me why it's called premium just explained that it's 10x15. I get it larger means now money but I didn't make this mistake and after sitting in the sun forever and the crappy tiny alleyway whose gonna sit and argue longer. So even though it's their stupid mistake I go ahead and give this lady another payment and she to almost triple what I had initially agreed to pay because by then we'd taken half the crap off the truckand day or outside the doorway. So thank you for taking every last dime I have this month on a already difficult day and fl basically forcing me into an agreement I know I'm more able to pay monthly for a unit that whole larger isn't my fault that the one you assigned me was taken. So it was a crap experience in a very shady neighborhood on top of nothing being premium about it and being triple the price days after buryingg my grandmother on a sweltering hot day. Horrible experience. Will take this expensive unit I didn't ask for but feel forced into paying for until fall comes and we can move everything into a cheaper unit elsewhere where customer service acknowledges their mistakes and takes responsibility and the very least can trek you what is premium and why your unit was already taken. Do not recommend. I'm stuck paying triple what I agreed to all because they made a mistake and refused to even budge or apologize for the huge huge inconvenience. ... Read more

I was ok with the information on the phone with KOA just now, but they need cameras in side of the climate controlled units. I'm not really happy about my unit being broken into and all my stuff being stolen. I assumed my unit would be safe knowing i paid my rent every month, this is not good at all. ... Read more

When I went to drop me stuff off to the storage First I had the HARDEST time trying to find where my storage was! They didn’t have code on the gate to get through so i had to call them! They didn’t give me the code to my inside storage unit so I had to call them AGAIN! a lady who I had meet there said her storage unit was broken into & she hasn’t been there for 3 weeks! There “junkies” living INSIDE the storage units! & Last but not least when i was FINALLY was able to get to my storage unit THERES WAS STILL SOMEBODY ELSES CLOTHES INSIDE THE STORAGE UNIT that’s was suppose to be MINE! This location is the one on 1510 Crums Lane in Louisville, Ky so yeah i definitely wouldn’t recommend NEVER AGAIN. ... Read more

WARNING: THIEVES AND LIARS! If I could give this place a zero-star rating, I would. Don't store your belongings here unless you want them stolen. My items were taken within just two days of storage! The police told me this is a common occurrence, yet the company fails to warn customers. I lost over $5,000 worth of possessions while moving into a new home, leaving me with nothing. As a nurse working 12-hour shifts, I needed a secure place for my belongings and was assured they would be safe. Instead, I was deceived. The insurance company isn't responding to my messages, and the owner falsely claimed they would "try their best" but has not contacted me since. How could my things be stolen when there are supposed to be cameras and access codes? This feels like an inside job. I'm not the only one with this experience. Please, do not store your items here. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that KO Storage - 1510 Crums Lane has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by KO Storage - 1510 Crums Lane can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 450 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by KO Storage - 1510 Crums Lane come at a variety of prices, starting from $19 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $163 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
