Lakita was the Bomb Dot Com!!!! Seriously, she made me feel at home. She showed me a unit that I immediately fell in love with, and then help me secure the best deal and reserve the unit for me! Give this woman a BIG raise!!! I only want to work with Lakita now, nah I'm joking, I'm joking. But she was a pleasure to work with!!! ... Read more

Usually I go with my mother to help with translation. However I couldn’t go with her this time but she told me that a young man named Sal helped her & even tried to speak Spanish so she could better understand. He did end up calling a translator for more help & they were able to communicate better. I appreciate that my mother was attended to with great customer service & that he had gone out his way for her to understand the documents better. My mother had a pleasant experience & a unit that fit her needs. ... Read more

He took the time to walk me through all the available unit options, ensuring I found the perfect size for my needs. Sal explained the rental agreement in detail, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. His friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge made me feel confident in my decision. The moving-in process was organized and efficient. Sal provided helpful tips on how to pack and maximize space in the unit. He even assisted me in locating the best access points for loading and unloading, which made the experience even smoother. Bought a storage room. Walked in to drop off stuff and walked right back out. Roach on the floor of the unit we bought and mice droppings and urine all over the ground of an empty unit. Will be calling tomorrow for a full return. Do not recommend. ... Read more

I can’t say enough about the experience I had with this Public Storage location and with Angel the manager in particular. From the time I signed up online for a storage unit through move in today, Angel was incredibly helpful, positive, thorough and confidence inspiring. She is exactly the kind of manager you want: one who carries out corporate policies with her own personal style and friendliness, so you feel that you’re dealing with a local business rather than an international conglomerate. The site is incredibly clean, Angel even cleans the common areas every day and check all the locks to make sure that they are all in place daily. I’ve used storage lockers before but this is a new experience in safety, cleanliness and customer service. Public Storage should make Angel a corporate officer, she helps transform the business “from good to great”. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 4318 Kenilworth Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 4318 Kenilworth Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 250 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 4318 Kenilworth Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $38 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $420 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
