Read some helpful reviews of 76 Willie Hill Self Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

After driving 3 hours to see my mother in Wells with the purpose of visiting but also helping her clear out her garage, she and I visited the Wells Transfer Station to dispose of some mattress pads. We were greeted by the rudest, most condescending, passive aggressive worker who should be assessed for narcissistic personality disorder and may want to rethink working in a public-facing setting. On our first visit we were turned away because my truck lacked an active Transfer Station sticker. Totally understandable. However, the attitude was aggressive and triggering to people with trauma backgrounds. Once we returned to the transfer station with the vehicle with the current Transfer Station sticker we were graciously allowed to dump our large mattress pads for free. I truly hope this man does not have even a plant at home that he is responsible for caring for; the rage simmering under his false professionalism implies sociopathic features. ... Read more

Poor service. Let the community know that you're closed please, I checked before I left because it was Juneteenth, and I just drove home with smelly trash in my car. Also, the expensive orange bags that you sell dont close properly. Jack's solution is to give away free bags instead of holding the vendor accountable and insisting on bags that close properly. ... I’ve lived in Wells for 20 years. The dump sticker was a pain for me since I have a dealer plate and my vehicle changes often. The Town Office made it easy for me to obtain the pass, then I received excellent service upon my first visit to WTS. It’s pretty simple, put the correct trash or recycling where it goes and be kind, the team there will always help you if needed. ... Read more

No directions on site as to how to get to the area to drop off the recycling materials. Why not put up two signs to direct newcomers to the residential area which is on the rear of the facility and can't be seen from the entrance? When you approach the large facility, bear right, don't go over the scales and stay right and circle around to the rear. 2 signs would make a big difference. Otherwise, you have to guess which way to go and stop and ask workers where to go. It's bad enough that Wells doesn't pick up recycling materials at residences ... they should make this easier. ... Guy at the “desk” is always very help when needed. The guys who work the yard can get a little attitude about “over stuffing” the orange bags. Well, if I’m paying $20.50 for the cheapest bags on earth, so bad that you have to buy regular trash bags and put them into the orange bags, better believe I’m shoving everything possible into them. ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.
