Christy is the best manager! She has always gone out of her way to help me. I have been a customer of hers for years and if not for her I would have found other storage options. The property is clean and the move on process was easy. If you need storage go see Christy! ... Read more

Really thought this was going to be a nice place. I arrived initially during business hours to sign my lease, buy locks, boxes, and bubble wrap. While I was there no one was present or watching the facility for over 4 1/2 hours. I called customer service multiple times over the day and no one could reach the property manager or tell me what to do next if not just leave. I gave the benefit of the doubt and waited all day until an employee finally showed up, only to be given a unit the had a wall panel broken loose exposing my neighbors items, but also some sort of decayed animal remnants or viscous liquid forming a circle on the floor roughly 2 ft diameter. I was then moved into a second unit, this one has the remnants of what was definitely a mouse this time, chewed up bait packs in the corners, and hundreds if not thousands of stink bugs, box elder bugs, and other insects. I couldn't even move anything my first day due to it now being almost 5:30 pm. The next day I returned and the manager was actually there, once she learned my name she began yelling at me for calling customer service stating I know it was you I can see all the calls, and that I had accused her of being there and banging on the door to her home adjacent from the office. All I stated was that a car was parked in her driveway and a window left open to the house I could hear sounds coming from. I never banged or even knocked for that matter once I felt the office door was locked, and I spoke my mind on the state of the facility, she accused me of verbally assaulting her and that she would just evict me from my unit unless I drop the subject and agree to act like nothing happened. "Water under the bridge" she said. I am instead taking my thousands of dollars for two of the biggest units for 6 months or more to East Lansing Storage across the street, how's that for water under the bridge. 10x better location worth the extra money for real security and care. From what I see SROA will only be cheap at first and jack the prices anyway. Thanks for your help Christy! ... Read more

I signed up online and the process was very simple, I just had to show up with my gate code and there was a free lock waiting for me inside my unit (10x10). Great prices compared to other facilities in the area and the location is easy to access. The facility is clean and well maintained, feels very safe. The local manager was very helpful and accommodating! Thanks Christine! ... Read more

I had to leave all of my furniture and other belongings (some irreplaceable) in a storage unit while I left to study abroad, which was 8 months altogether. My unit was inside and “climate controlled”. I came back just yesterday to take all of my things out so that I could move into my house for senior year, but unfortunately was left with water damage everywhere in my unit instead. Boxes were completely wet on the top and bottom, plus furniture (brand new and vintage) that had water damage. You could even see there was water about to come through the ceiling (luckily we got there in time before any more damage happened). Many of my things that were irreplaceable were ruined and covered in mold. Of course, none of it was intentional, but you also shouldn’t promise that your facilities are clean and secure when mine clearly wasn’t. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
