This is not my first time using public storage and as always they didn’t disappoint. The only issue I had was on my move in, I go someone completely rude. However, Sam on the day of my close was amazing, nice, and has just overall exceptional customer service. If I have to get a storage again I only want to talk to Sam. ... Read more

Currently my mother has 4 units at 24000 Telegraph. The service is horrendous!! One unit was burglarized and she wasn't notified until months later. Her outside unit is missing the strip at the bottom of the door. Now her items are covered by mice feces. She's been asking for the strip to be replaced/repaired for over a year. We just found out on Friday that the work order was never submitted. The new unit that she opened is defective. The PM, Sam, rented her the defective unit and didn't submit the work order for the door. My mother is being charged for a 10x20 unit, however the opening/door doesn't measure 10 ft. Sam also failed to refund the lock fee for the lock that I personally returned to her over a week ago. Let's not talk about the frequency of the rate increases. It's absolutely ridiculous!! We visited the location three consecutive days, no one was at the facility. It doesn't help to call because the calls are never returned. One good thing happened during the visit on Friday. Qiara, the visiting PM, helped to resolve some of the issues that PM Sam failed to accomplish. ... Read more

The property manager, Sam, and the district manager, Jessica, have made my experience quite frustrating. I feel compelled to write this review. Jessica has poor communication skills; she rarely returns phone calls and seems unfit for her position. Additionally, Sam is often rude in her interactions and business conduct with customers. ... I had an outstanding experience with Samatha, the manager at Public Storage. When I accidentally misplaced the key to my storage unit, Samatha was incredibly professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented. She clearly explained that they did not have copies of the key and that the core would need to be drilled out by a locksmith. Despite initially being out of cores herself, she took the initiative to research other locations within her network to find a replacement core. Her proactive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond made a stressful situation much easier. The next day, she followed through and informed me that she had secured a replacement core, which I was able to pick up conveniently. Samatha’s dedication to excellent customer service, her clear communication, and her prompt follow-up truly stood out. I highly commend her professionalism and her commitment to ensuring a positive customer experience. Ben Trotter -- ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 24000 Telegraph Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 24000 Telegraph Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 24000 Telegraph Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $46 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $401 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
