I have rented from this location multiple times and it has NEVER looked better. It’s so much cleaner and no trash laying around. I also met Brittany the new manager as she was on the property working. I have also never met anyone working there she is the only one I have ever seen. Great Job Brittany you have done an amazing job cleaning up the location ... Read more

Many thanks to Brittany Woods- Property Manager and Jessica Brown District- Manager for handling my recent concerns in such a professional manner. Brittany is very efficient and helpful. And Jessica is very good at returning phone calls. She returned my Tuesday phone call later that same day and even apologized for not getting back to me sooner. You are both appreciated! ... 1) No carts to transport items. 2) Smells like garbage when you walk in. 3) I tried to check-in to the unit. Used the keypad , that's in front of the door when you walk-in. Pushed the elevator up button. Out of the 2 elevator doors, the one on the left opens. Get on the elevator, push the 3rd floor button and it doesn't move . I load my car back-up. Go back to the kiosk. I was told to try the other keypad. I didn't have time to mess with gates and keypads, so I said I would come back another day. Came back 2 days later. It still smelled like garbage when you walk-in. Used the keypad to the far left. Again only the left elevator door opened. This time the elevator worked. Sounded horrible. Get to the 3rd floor and it was hot. I decided I was going to cancel this reservation. Didn't even go to the unit. I don't want my items stored in a hot environment. If only the left keypad works for the only elevator that functions, then the other keypad should be turned off. Or it should be noted for when your checking in. If it smells like garbage, could be some critters running around. No carts. 4) Canceled my reservation to get a refund. I was told no refund on the admin fee or the storage unit for the month, because I didn't cancel on the same day. I wanted to use the storage unit, but there were too many problems. The building conditions are unacceptable. ... Read more

I am so upset! This place is dirty. For 100.00 a month they do not have a bathroom they are locked and out of order or carts to move items. I had to wait 20 mins for a cart. Refer to the pictures. This place has not had carts in 6 months. You should be ashamed. I will never store here again. Come on 100.00 a month no carts no bathroom. I will be calling OSHA as well. You will be investigated. The customer service is good but the way you treat your staff as a corporate office is deplorable. You put them in shitty establishments and expect your staff to be cheery. Sounds like your leadership needs to be observed and some of you reprimanded. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 24200 Telegraph Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
