Great place to store items for short term. The lot is tight for trucks and trailers but single vehicles can navigate it well. Easy access, 24hr availability and I have not heard of or had any theft. Easy online portal for payment as well. But i have to give 3 stars based off of the price increases. While more units around town were getting built, they kept raising the price. I have been a long term renter, 4 years or so. they introduce you at $83, we are now over $340. Inflation is about 2-3% a year, that increase would be suitable. While they may encourage switching units for a better price, that idea is a little absurd. You pack your items in the unit, get shelves set up, organize it well for accessibility than you have to take everything down to move units one to the left? Sounds like a crazy waste of time and effort. ... Read more

This Co is way too expensive, I started out with a low introductory rate "apparently" and after only a few months it sky rocketed to $180 due to usage fluctuation is what I was told, what a scam. I called a new Co across the street from them, they don't increase their rates except maybe once every couple yrs and then it's only like $5, not $50 and over. And to top it all off, you need to be out be the very last day of the month OR you will be charged for the whole next month, NO PRORATING! CORP GREED AT IT'S FINEST! ... Read more

They raise their unit prices frequently on long term renters. Bigger units become cheaper than smaller units-so we just swapped out our smaller unit for a larger one for 1/2 the price. So if you rent there be prepared to swap units to keep prices reasonable. SMH! ... Read more

I've had an extremely unpleasant experience with this storage company, which I believe is among the worst I've encountered. Their fees continually increase, and if you don't have renters insurance for the locker, they'll require you to use their insurance. Furthermore, they cut locks and over-lock if you're five days overdue without warning or notification, and the security and safety at the facility are subpar. Communication with them is a hassle as well, as you have to jump through hoops to get someone to talk to you. Additionally, this is the third or fourth company to take over this location in just two years. It took me over six months to obtain a copy of the contract, and that was only after I stopped paying rent for several months to get their attention. Once I was finally able to speak to someone, I paid everything in full and was good to go, though I don't know why I had to go through all of that just to get a copy of the contract. Overall, this situation is absurd, and this company is lacking leadership. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Storage Rentals of America - 18055 198th Avenue NW, available security amenities may include Security Camera, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

    • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
    • Perishable food
    • Live plants or animals
    • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables
