Read some helpful reviews of iStorage at 4325 Hiawatha Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Ist storage I've ever rented and was very hesitant to even get a unit. The staff at iStorage was superb. The woman helping us (forgot her name) was so helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly had our best interests and needs in mind. I felt very confident in our choice to rent at iStorage. ... Read more

Don’t store your belongings here. My stuff was stolen. I had a lot of valuable items, including all my sentimental things, my child’s important documents, and sensitive documents. They literally let homeless people and sketchy people roam around the place. ... Read more

They are very good storage unit. Nothing has happened to any of my stuff or anything like that. The only downside I will say is after so many months your rent starts to increase and I don’t like that because I originally was paying like 25 and then it went up to 30 and then now it’s 45 and so like after so many months they want to keep increasing your bill and I only have like a 10 x 12 little things so it’s like financially it doesn’t make sense for how small my unit is and how much I’m paying now. ... Careful with these people. In the second month, they raised my rate. If you're late with a payment, it's $20. That's how they turn a $30/mo unit into $65. They don't email when the bill is due. They email when it's "late" and tack on the fee two days later. Cheats. Like old-time bankers who made their profits off the late fees. But I'm moved in now. I should be up the street at Uhaul. ... Probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. The manager, Paige went above and beyond with information and suggestions for my storage needs. I couldn't be more happy with my storage rental at iStorage. Thank you. ... Read more

The property has come a long way since being a tenant and there is some major effort being taken on the property managers side. There’s 2 staff at almost all times and someone is always willing to help. No issues since getting a storage and the staff goes above and beyond their normal to help us out. ... Read more

I have recently moved to Minnesota and needed a place to store my stuff uncertain with the area. I just took a chance by coming to this location and I would have to say that I am 125% satisfied the nice girl at the desk is a prime example of the definition of great customer service she went above and beyond to make sure my family and I got everything that we needed and did it with a smile and I will refer this place moving forward to anyone and everyone I know with any type of moving or storing needs. ... The lady who worked when I asked for information on storage for my Aunt, not only was very accommodating and professional but informative on great deals. This worker said she would stay later so that we could see the storage units and at the most affordable price, which she did. Thank you we were able to get exactly what we needed. ... Read more

The iStorage on 43rd and Hiawatha happens to be the most convenient location for me to get a storage unit, but I was hesitant to get one there, given the location and the events that have been taking place around there; however, the manager there, Paige, has been such a great help in making me feel so much more confident that it’s actually a great facility, and not to worry about the location, which has proven to be true after now almost a year of having the unit. I recently lost my key to my lock, and, yet again, Paige was prompt in helping me get in to my unit and replacing my lock. Thank you for being the best at what you do! ... Read more

Feb 1st, 2024, I got an inside 5x10 unit. There is no light switch in my unit only in the hallway, and I didn't see an outlet. My big issue is that this lstorage on 43rd & Hiawatha is very inconsistent & doesn't follow the hours that are shown. I am basically summarizing what I sent via email, Atrn: supervisor. The office was closed during business hours 2 different times. Another two times, I went to access my unit around 8:30 p.m., but the gate wouldn't open, and the code box said they were closed. According to their online website and to the big sign that's on the wall when you are entering the gate, access hours are 6am to 10pm. I even called and left a message with the office, bu there was no return call. This previous Wednesday, Feb 21st, I went to my unit around 5:30pm. to go through my belongings. A little after 6pm someone came in and said they were closed. I was just kind of like shocked and super annoyed. She said she was an employee of the storage but I had no problem addressing right away that I've only been here about 30 minutes so I'm going to finish going through my belongings before I'm ready to leave since I do pay for this unit and it says online and when you go in the entryway that you're open till 10:00. The woman employee and I did get into a little dispute because I did not see fit to hurry myself along when I was paying for something based on your advertisement but then you decide to make up your own rules. I expressed this to her and she said that they have been closing at 6:00 for over a year or so and I expressed that is not my problem and that you work here so you should Advocate that whoever is in charge needs to fixed their website and take down the large signs that explains access hours. ... Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that iStorage - 4325 Hiawatha Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, Keyless Unit Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by iStorage - 4325 Hiawatha Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by iStorage - 4325 Hiawatha Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $50 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $494 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
