Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 1830 Buerkle Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Their back wall is wooden so not very secure plus it is now down in places from snow plowing. Rent jumped us really high so I can no longer afford it. Its difficult to get into many units because they just have a piece of something plastic to help open it up. Some units have a door handle but not over by where mine is. There is an app that is supposed to let you get access without typing in the code each time but it usually doesn't work. The staff is nice. I won't be renting from Public Storage again unless these issues were fixed. ... Read more

I was going get my stuff from my storage as I was moving, the lock that was supposed to be on there was not there was a combination lock and not the one I purchased, and they weren’t open until 9 pm like the hours stated on the website. The staff is nice when they are there. Also my lock was broken off twice in two years I stored my stuff there. ... Read more

DO NOT TRUST OR STORE HERE!! ?? On my arrival for 1st month storage -I discovered the neighboring unit was broken into. The broken lock on ground, door partially open revealing old tires/car parts. Looking around we noticed -The security fencing/barbed wire was bent down —where breeched. Prior to driving in -there were a few people just “hanging around” —watching gate? I NEVER stored ANY item for even 1 day due to CONCERNS of theft. I understand now (too late) BREAKING-INs are BIG CONCERN HERE!! I was denied and refused any sort of storage refund—I had read the rental agreement…. Understood fees and my responsibility as renter…. BUT the fact that this is a FACILITY AND SECURITY issue and I had planned to store here. I understood my responsibility in good faith from previous experiences….What about the company accountability?!—a manager couldn’t step up show ANY GRACE?! IT’s APPALLING!! I have rented with this company many times over the years without incident. NEVER AGAIN!! My recommendation is work with a small business with personal investment in their company and customer service and care!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. ... Read more

My experience with Katy at the burkle white bear location was the best example of a employee that went so above and beyond to help me with the scramble that I presented!! She was so patient and positive that she ended up turning my whole day around and when I say she was awesome I'm mean there seemed like forces were working against me and she never once gave up until she had satisfied me as a customer and I know it was closing time too but she seen it through till the end and I'm greatful with her business ethics this woman needs a raise and a promotion!!:)) thank you again Katy! For not only helping me but turning my whole day around:)) ... Read more

My unit was burglarized. The burglars came through from the rafters which was only secured with chicken wire. According to WBL PD this is a common occurrence here. I lost $5-6k worth of items. Even with all the cameras they have there was no footage of anything. Beware!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 1830 Buerkle Road has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, Keyless Unit Access, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 1830 Buerkle Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 1830 Buerkle Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $49 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $254 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
