What customers are saying

Read some helpful reviews of My Storage at 2335 West Kingsley Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

This place couldn’t care less about their customers. Unit had an apparent leak in the roof, half the unit ended up covered in mold. They didn’t seem to care at all. Was given the “not our problem” attitude. I’ll never use this company again and I’d recommend no one else use them either. ... Read more

Cannot say enough about Joy! She was EXTREMELY helpful and made my experience one of a kind! My fiancé and I have been in the market to get a storage unit for awhile now but recently we are needing to move. Joy helped set us up with a storage unit and we got the ball rolling all in a day! This is my first time ever renting one and was pretty nervous. But, Joy helped answer all of our questions and it’s so nice knowing and seeing all the cameras around and that you have to have a PIN code to get in! ... Read more

Great service! Isaac helped me. He quickly responded to my inquiry & got me a unit within a few hours! He was eager to answer all of my questions and was very transparent about pricing, insurance, our contract, & their hours. This was my first time renting a storage unit and I walked away feeling confident that my belongings were in good hands. I told Isaac that I would probably only need the unit for a month, and he gave me pointers to ensure that I would have a smooth transition. I highly recommend them! ... Read more

We have been a customer for almost 4 years and currently live 500 miles from Springfield. I will say the units are clean, and we have never had a security issue here. And at the beginning, the service was friendly and the price was competitive. However in the last couple years, the rate has increased 35%. The office has also changed policies on moving from one unit to another. I was told we could change to a different size unit, but the size I needed was not available and would be contacted when it was. I was not contacted, but I checked back one month later only to find out 2 were available. I saw my name on the contact list on the wall but no one seemed bothered by the fact I was contacted as I was told I would be. When I went to process the paperwork, I learned the policy had been changed in the few weeks since I had inquired (and put on the list) and they would not honor what I was told. I have been in customer service management most of my career, and I am repeated disappointed every time I have to interact with staff. It seems that every dollar made is more important than keeping customers, especially the long term ones. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that My Storage - 2335 West Kingsley Street has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by My Storage - 2335 West Kingsley Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 440 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by My Storage - 2335 West Kingsley Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $65 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $310 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
