Great experience with Western Sky Storage. I rented a unit to store furniture while my office was under construction, and it worked out perfectly. Glenda was great, so sweet and always easy to reach when I had questions. Highly recommend if you need a clean, safe storage option! ... Read more

Western Sky Storage Billings In August of 2024, this company had someone come into their storage facility and damage an array of things. My camper being one of them. My camper needed repairs after the vandalism. I had insurance purchased through them that was told to me, coverage my unit. Once I contacted them about the repair they directed me to their insurance company. I was told just submit the paperwork and I would be reimbursed for the cost. I paid out of pocket to bretz rv and submitted all of my paperwork. The insurance then called me back and said western sky storage doesn’t have any policy’s that cover outside units. I called and went into western storage and inquired. They said I should be covered and to call insurance back. I called them back and they confirmed my claim had been denied and there was nothing they could do since they didn’t have coverage for outside units. Glenda the manager at western storage told me to give her time to contact them and square it all away. After over a month I emailed them asking the status of things multiple times. I kept getting the run around of them needing more paperwork and information and the last message was they needed the police report and the owner would take care of me. It’s been over a week since then. They now won’t answer my calls or emails or Facebook messages. They sold coverage they didn’t have to me, and now are ignoring me refusing to cover the cost of repair. I have all of the emails, paperwork, and insurance coverage saved and will be taking this above them. Don’t rent with these guys, it’s not worth the headache. Hopefully the others people who had damage done to their units aren’t having the same results as me. ... Read more

Their storage facility is nice but when it comes to their billing and keeping track of payments they have been terrible to deal with. They have said I’ve owed them fees when I paid for a year upfront (even signing a contract) and can’t seem to line up their books with keeping track of their documentation. The storage unit is great but they need to be more competent with treating their customers better and tracking their funds. Would not recommend to anyone! It’s honestly worth more paying a little more elsewhere and not doing business with them. ... Read more

Glenda helped me find a good unit for a few months until my husband and I purchased a house. She was very professional and when I had any issues with the gate or questions she gave me her direct number if I ever needed anything. The prices were reasonable and the lowest in town. We appreciate everything she did for us and if we ever need a storage area again she's the only place we will call thanks glenda! ... Read more

This place is great for your storing needs!! Glenda is awesome and super friendly and helpful with any questions I have! The units have been a perfect size for my needs. They’re in a great part of town too, so need to worry about safety and I love the convenience of them having insurance with the unit as an option. They’re online portal is super easy to use too!! ... These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Western Sky Storage - 4610 Crescent Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 600 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Western Sky Storage - 4610 Crescent Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $59 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $189 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
