I have some friends in the park and the maintenance man came barreling towards me screaming at me to get off the grass that I may have been on 2 inches of, maybe. He screamed the entire time at me and not once asked me politely or nicely. He seemed like he was on something for him to be so violently rude. I would not like to live in a place like this! ... Update May 28, 2024: In April someone ran into my mobile home. On Sunday someone sideswiped my truck. $2,000 worth of damage. Called park managers and received no response. The police haven't caught either one. The problem is people race through park at high speeds. My neighbors and I have complained for years. The park's best response is to send a letter no one reads or pays attention to. Lot rent was getting out of hand and high compared to similar courts. (Investment group that bought this park has bought other parks and raised all rents. Becoming a monopoly.) Jacked rents during a Pandemic, where I lost three months of work. (Lot rent went from $315/month to $608/month.) High rent for living in a superfund area next to the railroad tracks and highway. Reclamation actions are going to be taken in 2019 until who knows when. (Action was never taken May 2024 post) Railroad constantly blocks road. Owner has not replaced fence that they were paid by City to replace. Not kid friendly. Can not have swing sets in yards. The new owners removed community playground. Roads are slick and rarely plowed in winter. Very little services for what you pay. My garbage hasn't been picked up in two weeks. Every garbage day I have to pick up other people's trash out of my yard. Can't use your lot for anything. Everything is not approved. Can't have antennas on YOUR own house, which is against federal regulations. Can't have swing set or a swimming pool in summer. Owner is Andesite Properties out of Billings MT. (I belive they've changed their corporate name again). I tried calling about garbage not being picked up. But their phone was not working and no one in office. Dylan Osterhout is an owner. So can't use his review. (Update rent has increased again and garbage service was replaced with private company that is charging fees.) ... Read more

This is by far the worst mobile home park in Helena Montana. They expect you to pay over $600 for lot rent and they don’t even allow you to have pets nor do they maintain the property in a functioning order. They can’t tell an owner of a mobile home in their park that they can’t have an indoor cat lol these people are so controlling and manipulative. I have been a professional in this community for many years and I have had to deal with this company for many years. In that time span, they have lied to my clients, assured them that they would be considered for housing just to take their application fee and never once call them or consider them for housing. When you call to talk to them, they act like they’re so sweet but if you say one thing that they don’t like they instantly turn into a negative person and will either hang up on you or threaten you in someway. How are they even legally still open or allowed to have renters?! The amount of complaints that have been put into the Montana legal assistance program because of this company is astonishing! Somebody needs to sue this company and make sure that they are held accountable for all of their negligent actions. Don’t let this company bully you into thinking that you have no rights. Tenants have rights! Please do your due diligence as a tenant and learn what your rights are because this company will take advantage of you and steal your money! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Mobile City Self Storage - 1805 Joslyn Street has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
