I used BPS for a couple years previously and was very happy. However, I rented a 10x10 unit in 2023 only to have the monthly rate jump over 30% a couple months later. I'm currently living distantly and visited the unit in Apr2024 only to find I would guess a good 5 gallons of feed corn in my unit along with rodents feces/debree. When i asked the manager about easy access food/grain being stored in units she told me there was nothing they could do about what could or could not be stored and it was not their intent to control the rodents. Any other storage I.ve used past has had a policy of no open containers-and properly stored feed/food so rodents do not have access. The units are located within a flood zone so anything that is not 3"s off the floor has the possibility for future flood damage. I know the owner is a very nice guy that also owns another very successful business, but I believe is now trying to recover from flood damage loses from 2022 ... Read more

We’ve been faithful customers for 3 1/2 years always paying on time. We’ve had multiple issues with payments being drawn early, rate increases every year, and poor customer service. Last winter the unit was constantly plowed in so we had no access. Plowed snow several feet high combined with ice dams in the gutters caused the unit to flood several times. This year we’ve also battled mice, something that was never a problem in the past. When the rates went up again this year we decided to vacate. Even a simple conversation to arrange closing out the unit was met with attitude. When I respectfully shared our experiences and why we’d chosen to vacate the gal actually hung up on me. This is a beautiful, clean and secure storage location with kind owners but the staff is rude and doesn’t do a good job. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
