DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! I rented a 10x20 storage unit 3 1/2 years ago, and they have consistently raised the price on me ever since. I started out paying $180 a month, and they are now charging me $360 a month for the same unit. The place looks like a dump, and a lot of the units are not secured, and have the doors opened with people's stuff just sitting there for someone to steal. They have repeatedly changed my locks without telling me, and they throw the locks that they cut into my unit and just shut the door. I just went to clean out my unit today because I am tired of the bs, and it took forever for me to get into the unit because they had took my lock off again and put one of theirs on it. There was so much dirt and crap in my unit it was ridiculous, and there was 4 locks just laying on the floor behind the doors. Their customer service is also rude as hell, and there is no real person to talk to on site. You have to video call someone on this computer. ... Read more

WARNING!!! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! I rented a unit from here a little over an hour ago and paid the $1 promo for the first month, a $29 administrative fee, had to pay $19.99 for their lock, and taxes. Total was $51.36. My reservation was for tomorrow. You can't even get into the units after 9:00 pm and we ordered it after 9:00 pm. Everything seemed fine until I downloaded the app and it said I still owed $19. I called their customer service and 7 reps have hung up on me and wouldn't help. Their customer service is awful!!! So I decided to cancel, and they told me they wouldn't refund my $29 fee and they had to check the building before they refund me anything. I couldn't even get in! They were closed and I never even had a gate code to get in. We never took possession of the unit because we couldn't and they won't refund my money. Do not rent from here. They will lie to you, steal your money, and treat you like crap. Literally go anywhere else. I know other places locally cost more but you won't be screwed over. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and disputing the charge with my bank as fraud. ... Read more

I rented a unit at this facility because I needed a secure place for my belongings. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The premises were consistently neglected, with trash scattered everywhere, creating an unsafe and unpleasant environment. Observing others disposing of their trash, I mistakenly thought it was acceptable to do the same. However, I was contacted the next day and threatened with a $1000 fine. We promptly retrieved our trash and vacated the unit. Additionally, the facility had severe issues with mice and mold, which further compromised the safety and cleanliness of the environment. The presence of squatters also made the facility feel very unsafe for customers. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I've had, and I cannot recommend this facility. The managers need to do better. ... Read more

As other reviews of this location have stated, this place is pretty rough. I had to rent a parking space without visiting first. Big mistake. The amount of trash at this site is mind boggling. Doors are ripped off of storage units, broken down junked cars litter the place, no one ever appears to actually work there. When I arrived, the security gate was wide open and it was a ghost town. I arrived after dark and even with no one around, I did not feel comfortable at such a run-down facility. After a few trips there to try to talk to someone, I gave up and cancelled my account. If you're okay with sketchy places and are not storing anything of great value this place may work for you. Otherwise.....exercise caution. ... Read more

Don’t waste your time. I reserved a unit and went to use it same day. Got there and the unit’s door was ripped off with other people’s stuff laying around. There was a burned car across from the unit as well, TONS of trash in the parking lot, and front gate was wide open when I got there. I got right back in my car and left. Do not use this place!! ... Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 3001 South Ridge Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 3001 South Ridge Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 400 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 3001 South Ridge Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $42 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $247 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
