Read some helpful reviews of Brassfield Self Storage Center, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Over $5000 in valuables were stolen in broad daylight. I can't help but think that the thieves had prior knowledge of the contents and location where valuables were stored. How could the thieves know or control visitors to the units and building in question? The Page Rd facility is not secure. I wrote the owners about amy concerns and have not heard from them. The next step is to take Tricon to court. I would try the Western Ave. location if I needed storage space. Thief broke into four units in the same building. Cut the padlocks(the one's THEY sell and you have to use) into pieces. They took small valuables and made multiple trips offsite to secure their haul. This was all done in broad daylight. The storage units are clean and have no pests. I left my car there for 9 months without a scratch and I’m on 3 rd storage unit from Brassfield"s. The office staff are friendly and business like and as helpful as they can be. They have rules for sure but they make sense and keep the place nice. Judy has left Brassfield's so I can't speak to the new management ... Read more

Facility is old and not in good repair. Entrance gate is in shambles. Video cameras are props, the staff said they didn't work. Doors on storage unit dont seal, leaves, dirt and debris blows in your unit and coats your belongings. Also theres a rat and cockroach infestation. Find a new facility. ... Read more

Management was very helpful and courteous. Facility was well maintained with the exception of birds nesting in the cover spots and producing unwanted droppings on my boat. Overall I enjoyed the facility. Stored my boat there for several years. ... Read more

I am so happy I chose Brassfield 1 for storing my stuff. Judith could not have been more helpful driving us around. We had rented from a big name storage in Maryland and it was not pleasant and it was very expensive. I drove a little farther to get what i wanted. Pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful and professional service. Kudos :-)) ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
