To put it simply, Jeanne is hands down amazing!!! When I made a mistake with my unit she helped me with a friendly and nonjudgmental demeanor. Jeanne listed and explained solutions to my error and then walked me step by step through fixing it. This is my first experience with using a storage unit and Jeanne has ensured that should I ever need one again that I’ll look for the green extra space logo first. The deal promotion I signed on with lasted for 3 months before I was moved to the regular rate. The unit was clean and mostly assessable (large step into hallway before unit). I've been a renter at this location for two years and can't recommend it in the least.
The corporation that controls this location will jack up your rates every few months. In the course of two years, I went from paying $70 to $236 per month! They tell you that the initial rate is an "introductory" rate - what they don't tell you is that they will raise it every three or four months until you're paying more per square foot than an luxury apartment.
We are literally getting a bigger apartment with another bedroom because it's cheaper than Extra Space. Don't waste your money on this place. ... Read more

Ms Jeanne is the glue that holds this place together! From day one she has ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS been soooo helpful and informative! She tries her best to find you the best prices. When I was outgrowing my space...she suggested that I upgrade to a larger unit...she told me that she had some hunting around to do with the prices and that she would call me back...welp about 1hour passes and she called me back with a great price and reserved a unit for me!...and if you come to your unit in the daytime...you just might catch her popping a wheelie on that golf cart!?? Happy to see the appreciation in all the other reviews. I chose Life Storage because the company policies were straightforward and not sleazy like most of the competition. But also, when I was shopping around the conversation I had with Jeanne was such a breath of fresh air vs. the competitors. She made it easy to understand everything and get set up.
As everyone says, Jeanne is so sweet and she really cares about her job and her customers. She is very professional and there to help with any issues, as well as just to check in on you and see how you're doing. With storage facilities you kind of expect the eerie, stale, fluorescent lit warehouse as seen on every detective show, but here we have a friendly neighbor around that makes the place feel welcoming and safe.
Generally corporate-owned businesses aren't capable of providing a personal and non-predatory experience, so the suits have my respect for allowing Jeanne to run this place properly and make them a lot of money. Hopefully they have the sense to not mess with the recipe, and can see the value of differentiating their brand by keeping away from the greedy shenanigans found at just about every rental or storage place. ...
