I’ve been renting from this facility for a little over a year. I had to go out of the country help my wife with our pregnancy. So I put everything I owned in a storage unit at this location. Some of my children’s clothes, toys, and coats. Also my army class a uniform that I retired in, my flag, my dd214, some other important documents for my children and myself. A living room set I purchased that was only a few years old. A mini bike I purchased for my son, a couple of thousand dollars worth of merchandise from a store I owned that I had to close, all the mechanic tools I collected from the time I was in the military to the present. And several other things I acquired. I don’t have any family or friends that could of left these things with. Most of my family died before my 12 birthday so, I don’t have anyone besides my children. I left everything there. I set up auto payment. Mainly because I wasn’t sure when I would return. They raised the payment on me at least twice that I can remember. I never fussed I just accepted it. I never miss a payment or was late at all. Due to the auto payment. I go to check my account and noticed they hadn’t taken a payment out for the month. So I go to email the manager because the network is not great where I am staying in Ghana. And that is when I seen the email stating that they auctioned off my stuff for $100! My soul left my body. I called Public Storage customer service this wasn’t real. I don’t care about the furniture stuff. But my flag from my retirement, my uniform, my brother died a couple years ago some things I had to remember him with. I can never replace these things. I cried for about a week, I felt empty even still. The only emails I received were the ones telling me, they sold my stuff for $100 and I owed them $300. Outside The priceless stuff they stole there was at least $8000 dollars worth stuff in there. It has a couple of months since this happened and I’m truly just now able to talk about it. I’m not going to let your greediness effect my life anymore but I just needed to let you know. ... Read more

Very difficult to drive around through this tiny complex that is filled with inclines and declines of uneven pavement. (I understand reasoning, such as water run off, etc. beware if you change your credit card or turn off autopay… they will call you the next day (even on a Sunday morning) asking if you’re vacating the property… I have a decent share of storage units over the years, not a fan of how they conduct their business or franchise. ... I always come back to this place. Recently decluttered and needed a little space. Everything was so straight forward. Didnt even need anyone to actually help because the online process is so easy. Jessica followed up with me after my move and it was refreshing to have a follow up call. ... Read more
