Tri Star Storage is a great storage facility. Have been using them since 2022. The only things that could improve is the keypad to enter is sometimes hard to deal with. A new keypad with raised buttons would be a massive improvement. Otherwise a great storage facility ... Read more

I've been renting a storage unit from Tri-Star for around a year now and have had no problems. It is reasonably priced and very organized. They have dumpsters on site which is really handy for seasonal moving. The staff is helpful and are eager to accommodate you if you are ever in need of service. I can also say that they will update you frequently as changes may happen periodically. ... Read more

I had a bit of a problem with my Tri Star storage location in Sumter, so I called their customer service folks in Greenville, and was blest to get Sherry on the phone. She was reasonable, compassionate, attentive, and used her imagination to craft a better solution than I was seeking. it's amazing how much better I feel about the whole company, now that I have a better understanding of what they can do; I would have given them one star before, nowI'm pleased to award five. ... I work very close to this location which is why I chose it initially. But the reason I've continued using them is the customer service and quality of service I receive when I've had questions or stop in to the front office. I tried elsewhere initially and had one of the rudest experiences, but not here. Great location, great service, great pricing, no complaints out of me. ... Read more

Honestly only moved in because of convenience at the time. Learned that they would change the codes randomly and never let me know. I got locked out once because they changed the code and could not get ahold of anyone. Got in the next day after business hours once I had to call and get a new code. That code did not let me out. Could not get ahold of the manager and had to call the cops. After a while a customer came and luckily let me out. My unit was not cleaned when I moved in, had a dead mouse in my unit when I first went in. When I moved out, I found 3 dead mice in my stuff. Price jumped up to $90 per month from $80 without being told for a regular 5x10 unit, I looked around and found a 5x10 climate controlled unit somewheres else for $95 a month. I would rather pay $5 more a month than to have my stuff filled with bugs, spiders, and mice. Office staff was helpful and cared about any issues, but overall a bad experience, wish I did more research before I moved in there. ... Read more

The owner is an amazing lady. I had a major issue. The owner called and listened to me. She didn't jump on me like so many would. She allowed me to inform her of my situation. She completely is my favorite experience about Tri Star. Thank you Mrs. Lynn?? ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.
