Megan is so nice and professional; I would recommend this facility. I bought a new RV and was stressing about finding a convenient, well-lit, and secure place to store it. Two years in, I can say that I've been very satisfied. Big shout-out to AAA Self Storage and to Megan! ... Read more

Even though the address says N Main St....this is the end of that street which means literally no traffic and commotion. So this location is not somewhere in downtown High Point. That makes getting in and out of this place pretty easy especially when you are hauling stuff around. Another advantage of this location is you can hit Hwy 311 in less than a minute. This particular location is a newer facility and the older one is just a few thousand feet away. So the prices on this one is a tad bit more than the old one. Very well maintained place and if there are any issues....it gets handled pretty quick. Both the lady and gentlemen who work here are pleasant to work with. The storage place stays pretty full and you have to get on a waiting list to get a spot. ... Read more

I have rented a unit here several times over the last 15 years. They are always clean and the facility is well lit. I like the fact that someone is always on the premises during business hours. I needed a storage unit in a hurry and emailed them at 3 in the morning to see if there were any available. When I called at 9:00 Megan told me she had already reserved a unit for me. When I arrived to do the paperwork, she was very gracious, carefully reviewed the rental agreement and even provided a free lock with keys. She was a pleasure to work with and is a great representative for the company. The only thing they didn't do was pack my boxes and unload them (just kidding). I always feel safe when I visit to use my storage unit. There is nothing that I could suggest to improve on an excellent facility. ... Read more

What a great experience! From the first initial phone call to the moving out process, everything was simple, easy, and fast. Megan in the office is awesome to work with, understands the needs of the customer and is a true pro. I found this facility to be clean, secure, and easy to access. I also found it to be among the most cost-effective options in the area. They have tremendous move-in specials and even a moving truck that can be used to move your belongings into the facility. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend to anyone looking for storage services. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
