Not a smooth process. Talked to someone on the phone and they rented me the wrong type unit. Follow me on this journey and decide if the hassle is worth the headache. There was no one at the physical location (and when you call public storage they can’t tell you the name of the Property Manager because they don’t know). So you come into the kiosk to call a live rep. This person moved me to a climate controlled unit. I get a code. Code doesn’t work. So I go back to the kiosk. They link another code to my account and now I can get into building. One side (the upstairs) is A-L and that part doesn’t have climate control (there is a work order for them to fix the AC) and the basement is M-Z. Because I was lost I was able to figure out that the upstairs AC was out. There is no one there to tell you which door to use and obv I went to the wrong door and figured out the M-Z and A-L part. So I go up to the kiosk one more time to see if I can get A CLIMATE CONTROLLED UNITL like I requested the FIRST person I spoke to the day before. The call drops (the internet in the kiosk lost network connection) and by now I’ve been here almost 2 hours and I decide it’s not worth the hassle and I cancel moving in to this (or any) Public Storage locations. ... Poor customer service and assistance from General Management along with District Manger. I paid my storage fee and unable to access my unit for an entire month and they still charger me. The representative tried reaching out to the higher up but they are not very responsive and don't treat their customers with the necessary service while occupying for their units. My issue is still unresolved. Maybe a Google review will help this matter. ... Read more

I'm not one for change and not having someone at this location all the time is change. I had the pleasure of meeting Tracy while she was cleaning the floors and what a delightful burst of energy she was. She showed me how I can use my app and pay at the machine. Thanks for smiling when I was not ... Read more

I received SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE from Armani!! Before I arrived at the facility, she called me with a very welcoming tone to confirm my reservation. Upon arrival, she greeted me with a smile and a will to help. From the time that I walked in the door to the time, I left she assisted me with ease and went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that I was taken care of!! She deserves a promotion!! This is what customer service should feel like! I was very impressed and hope to work with Armani again in the near future! :)) ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
