My husband went out and got me a storage building a few months back I have been making the payments on my storage building with my stuff in there. At this Location and every time I go in there to talk about something that happened at my storage building she always getting a smart attitude by the employee there.. They told me I cannot discuss that. With you because my husband's name on it. And refuse Me to pay my bill and get A receipt I do not do nothing online I don't Like online s because it gives access to my bank information. And I was told that I couldn't pay mine so another month. That's a late thing because of sorry, employee. And my kids accidentally left out my skates out of the storage building. And she called me lier when she let somebody steal it off the ground, and it was in a black trash bag, so if they can give a camera Of somebody taking my washer and dryer, so how can she get a video camera to see who took my skates? And they have somebody that works there as a maintenance. Guy that back in 2012 where he stole my Tahoe from my sister in law and When jewelry riding in the woods. And the only reason why he did not get charged is because he was not at the vehicle when the vehicle was founded. And the cops didn't do their job by testing for press Fingerprints either. So it's nice that people can lie and get away stealing my things. ... Read more

So far my experience has been extremely positive. As best as I can tell from my research they have the most competitive rates in the area and storage units available on a variety of sizes. Extremely well managed with secure access and clean well maintained storage units. There is a downside and that is the grading the unit that I have rises almost 2 ft and it is difficult to get heavy items in there whether on a cart or a dolly also if you use a trailer or have any type of vehicle with low ground clearance you're going to struggle it's like the mountains of the moon even though it's paved. I do have an outside parking space as well and I'm a little concerned about the ground conditions when there has been a lot of rain there is standing water and the ground is soft so far I've been able to stay on top of the 57 stone but it is obvious from the struggles others have had that I may have difficult to getting my trailer back out. ... I am a pretty easy going person, very hard for me to complain. With that being said, I had an awful experience at Coopers (national highway location). #1–The lady that runs the front desk is completely rude! She should NOT be handling any customer service PERIOD. I got an attitude from her anytime I would call to pay/ask any questions. #2– we had our things in storage less than 6 months while in transition selling/buying home, luckily only had furniture there and a few odd and end boxes. It was COVERED in RAT POOP!!! We also had rat poison out as a precaution. #3–furniture was also covered in mold! I did call to let front desk know. I got the answer “you just have to be more proactive about the poison, sorry I wish there was something else I could tell you.” Please do not use this place!! ... Read more

The lady at the front (cannot remember her name) I have not had a great experience with. She does not have very good customer service. Each and everytime I went in there to pay on my storage room, I never knew what type of attitude she would have. I am so glad that I am NOT there anymore. The next storage room I get will NOT be here. I have had other storage rooms before and NEVER have I EVER had to worry about what type of attitude someone would have when I go in there. WIth other storage room companies I have had great service. IF there are other people who have had great experience with Cooper self storage, that's good. I can only speak from my experience. My review is NOT to STOP people from coming here but to "HELP" people be aware before they get a storage room here. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
