I had a unique situation where I just needed a storage unit while traveling internationally for 2 months. Renting from Bison Storage felt like working with a family friend. They made the process smooth and stress-free. The team was easy to reach, fair, and quick to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if needed in the future. ... I am giving Bison State Storage a five star review I would do higher than five but there are only five on there. I would give Bison State Storge a 10/10 star rating because they are amazing and they work with you when you are in a crisis. I have been in a really bad crisis and they have been doing a great job for me and helping me out. I would recommend if anyone needs storage to go to Bison State Storage and get a unit. Bison State Storage is awesome they have didn't size units there prices are really affordable and they have really good security. Also the staff are really friendly and nice and amazing to work with. Also Sean was also amazing. He has been a big help to me and my family. I have been struggling with cancer and paying for treatments are really hard plus paying for storage but Sean is helping us out and letting me catch up with payments. Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Bison State Storage - 1000 36th Street South, available security amenities may include Security Camera, Gate, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.
