Stuff very rude, especially owner. They don't care about customer, he stated that we can not keep anything related to a business and offered another location for rent with office. Also they still use a checks or cash for a payment. No online self service. It's not gated property. Better to skip this storage and work with U haul etc. ... Read more

The staff are very friendly and accommodating when needing a storage unit. But they do hold you accountable for payments on time or they do thier jobs even then the staff are able to stay the coarse of being kind. And no issues with break ins or the crazy stuff that happens at other facilities. ... Read more

We have rented storage units here several times over the years and have always been happy with the facility, security and staff. Recently we rented outdoor boat storage and had no issues. Al, the owner is a great guy and Amanda in the office is super friendly and helpful. Today we were able to rent a large unit that became available in their new location and Al was sure to give us a unit we could easily get our boat into and still have room for other things. We appreciate their customer service and their prices are comparable to every other place I've checked out. Yet their units are better insulated and their property has more cameras and lighting than other places we've rented at. We'd recommend Belmont Self Storage to anyone needing a storage solution! ... I was in a jam and needed a storage unit ASAP. Of course it was a Sunday and not much is open on that day as we all know. I stopped into the Belmont storage on Rt 106 in Belmont. The office was closed but the owner happened to be on site. The very nice gentleman opened the office for me and got me into a storage unit right then and there! Incredible! He could have told me to come back Monday but that wasn’t the case. I highly recommend BELMONT STORAGE! Wicked clean units and the prices are more than fair! #1 storage in the lakes region for sure! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
