I am grateful to have spoken with Gina, who answered all my questions clearly and professionally. Every visit to Public Storage has gone well, and the space has always been clean, tidy, and functional. It has been a pleasure to use this service so far. ... Read more

At first I wrote a bad review about Public Storage. I was a little hasty, I might add. Im not sure what changed but it's more clean and I see Gina, the manager, really doing a terrific job. Every time I go, she seems to be working harder and helping people out. I was amazed to see her cleaning and doing things that maybe she could assign to other people. The only problem really, is maybe they raise the prices a little hasty. I've seen other workers there and Brandon always has a smile and something nice to say and newer workers or from other sites are usually very pleasant. Going forward, I hope to have a much better experience here. And I'm staying for now. I feel bad. I left a bad review initially that was unwarranted and maybe it was me having the bad day and not them. ... Read more

The bathroom has been out of order for half a month. Inexcusable. The workers are lazy and biased. I've told a main worker there that there were ppl waiting to get into the office and it was important, when I informed the employee she went "psssh oh well". Also she told a trainee on his 1st day there my and my husband's business. There was a dirty spoiled orange in the elevator for more than 3 days and in a separate there was a pair of sweatpants with feces all over them. This has happened 2x. Also there is topsoil in front of somebody's storage for over a week. The bathroom, is never cleaned, unless Mike is working and he's not there anymore. An employee same girl that's biased keeps mentioning "paraphernalia" being used on the premises like she's insinuating. I've been patient but enough is enough. I called the district supervisor and it took her 11 days to call me back w all these problems. I was in the hospital and hurt my hip, knee and foot and my husband was taking care bc all our first aid stuff is in storage and just bc I was sitting down while he cleaned and bandaged it, in my storage unit, my hours got restricted!!! Which has made it a pain bc I need to be there at 6am, and just bc this one employee who thinks she's better than me, restricted my hours from 9-5pm. Which does not work w my new e.ployment schedule. I just pulled up here and bathroom is still out of order. 17 days. My husband could fix it w a plunger. Speaking of that, my husband is doing their jobs putting carts left in hallways back to the 1st floor. Also a worker was sleeping in the parking lot, I presume to have been smoking Marijuana or hungover. He had to fix his bedhead in his reflection and told me the hours were 9:30-5pm for him which is a lie. If I could give -100 stars, I would. I'm moving my storage out asap! ... Read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I really liked this storage until they screwed me over. everything was great till they raised my rent price after a few months. So I moved out! Then I was charged for the month on March 2nd the same day I moved out. I was told they had no way of giving me a refund or partial refund and they can't refund me for the unit insurance I also payed for. they Said I had to stay till till April 1st. I told them it didn't make any sense to be forced to pay rent and insurance on empty unit for another month! So, I called my card company who approved a charge back because what public storage was trying to do is a scam. Then I recieved a letter from collections on April 1st that I owed a balance to public storage for March 4 to April 1st. I explained to collections that I've moved out March 2nd! Why was I being forced to pay for this another month? This is the first time in my life I've ever recieved anything from collections. The collections agent agreed public storage was being vindictive and sent to collections without telling me I had an unpaid balance and with no warning, no nothing. The collections agent sympathized with this scam but she had to do her job .So she gave me an adjusted and fair price that I was ok with paying off. The collections agent agreed with me that public storage sent this Immediately to collections (which I think is also illegal) to be vindictive. I want everyone to know that public storage tried to hurt my credit. Beware of public storage shady business practices and especially that nasty fake lying woman in the front desk. ... Read more

I really like this Storage but have its downsides. The fact of having an app that ables you to unlock the doors by proximity, alongside the automation of payments so you don't forget to pay on time each month are really good specs. But, they lure you in with really low prices at the beginning and then start rising the monthly payments significantly, I do not like that. Also, the hours allowance is relatibly short compared to other storage brands, they are open till 9pm every day, not allowing you to access during the night. It would be great if that can be changed. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 504 Jane Street has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 504 Jane Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 20 to 150 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 504 Jane Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $51 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $406 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
