Read some helpful reviews of Omega Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Terribly unprofessional establishment. We had a reservation to pick up a moving truck at 11:30am but upon arrival at 11:20am the place was closed and had a sign saying “be back at 11:35am”. We decided to wait it out and at 11:55am there was still no sign of anyone in the building. In the time we spent waiting two other customers showed up and were confused that they were “closed” as well and left. Tried calling the office and heard the phone just ring til it went to voicemail. We spoke to someone earlier to confirm we were set for 11:30am and was assured everything was set. To get there and wait another half hour with no one there to help with an already existing reservation was beyond rude. We left and have to get another uhaul rental last minute and make sure nothing is charged to the card with put with the reservation. All in all terrible first experience and will be our last with this location. ... Read more

I saw a payment for storage posted on Debit Card in December when I haven’t had anything in storage since September. I asked them to credit my account for the month of December but they refused. Be careful here. You may want to find another storage facility that pays more attention to who’s coming and going. ... Read more

Beware Princeton U Students Omega Self Storage has homeless people living there and your items will get ruined from water and mold damage. Moving out of Omega today. I came to Omega despite there 3 star review (which dropped to one star from other yelpers since I last checked). Because they were 24 hrs and I needed access to my unit at odd hours. I always was a little weirded out when I would go to my unit late at night. I always thought someone was watching me. Boy was I right. They have cars that park overnight and after a two week investigation of my own theyre were two seperate men both living there. Needless to say I could not come there again after hours .Also my clothing and electronics were ruined by mold. I don't know where it came from since I have a inside unit. The staff member claimed he has seen condensation develop in the units. I do however want to give a shout out to Scott the employee he has been very nice . It's a shame he works for such a crappy company.l ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
