Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I have only had the 5' x 10' unit for 10 days and didn't rush to start bringing in items, but so far, so good. Getting the elevator to work was a little confusing at first, but that was a me problem (lol). On my first day of dropping off items I went into the office/desk person. She was wonderful; Extremely helpful, was very patient answering all my questions, and was pleasure to speak with. My only reason for 4 stars is because this location only had 1 of 2 elevators working at this time. ... Read more

Honestly, an all around terrible experience. Often, there’s not enough carts so I have to hand carry heavy things to and from the unit. One of the only two elevators is constantly out of order and as of today 01/17/2025, BOTH elevators are out of order. The working hours are silly for anyone working a 9-5 as they are only open 9:30-6. I can’t wait to move my stuff out. Oh, and the day I moved in, there was a raccoon on the ceiling wire fencing. ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
