I'm so glad that I switched my storage locker over to Laing Self storage!!! I absolutely love being able to drive straight into the building and pull right up to my storage locker with ease. Not only is it easy to load and unload from your locker, but the locker is temperature controlled and air tight as well! No cobwebs. No dust. No bugs. No mildew. Just a well maintained, well secured, locker. Thanks Brian Laing, the owner, for keeping the facility so nice and secure, I feel safer having my belongings under your watch! ... Read more

Great storage facility! I've been using Laing storage for the past 2 years for summer storage for my Binghamton University student. Facility is close to campus, very clean and secure. Brian is also a pleasure to work with and he had no problem answering my 100 questions the first year we rented. We will definitely be using this facility next year. ... Read more

I’ve been renting from Laing for several years now. The building is safe and secure and best of all, it’s CLEAN, y’all! Any time I’ve had an issue, Brian has reached out right away and handled it immediately. Brian and his company are always professional and courteous and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Laing self storage is the ONLY company I will recommend to anyone that asks about renting a unit. Brian is a wonderful person to do business with and he will be my first call should I ever need a unit again. He takes pride in his buildings and you can tell at first glance. You need to call Laing if you need a storage unit. ... Read more

I’ve been using Laing Storage for about a year and a half, and I’ve been consistently impressed. Their communication is always prompt, and the units are very clean and well-maintained. Security is top-notch, and I love that the facility is accessible 24/7. One of the best parts is having my storage unit at their Endwell location — it’s convenient to access my items without having to worry about being exposed to the elements. Additionally, I really appreciate the monthly text reminders about upcoming payments, as well as notifications once payments are received. Overall, I’ve had a great experience with Laing Storage! ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Laing Self Storage - 105 Brink Street, available security amenities may include Security Camera, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

    • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
    • Perishable food
    • Live plants or animals
    • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables

Always check with the facility at 105 Brink Street for specific restrictions and recommendations.
