Public Storage is so lucky to have Skip as a representative! He is able to answer all of my many questions, is always kind and helpful and is the #1 reason we chose Public Storage and then turned my brother on to their West Seneca location for his upcoming storage needs! Great customer service, clean and safe units, plenty of room and did I mention "clean" and "safe"?? Skip explained how it all works and the prices are very affordable, thankfully! You've got a customer for always! ... Read more

Awful. Rent went from $139/month 07/02/2023 to $209/month 08/02/2024 for #513, a 10' x 15' non-climate controlled unit. You can only access the facility 7am to 9pm for this price. And today, while thankfully moving out, the gate was stuck open the entire time from arrival to departure. How long has it been like this? Who knows. But that is what that premium price is for I suppose. Oh yeah, the app is trash. It worked the first few visits and then it stopped, including today during move out. So, if you have the unfortunate luck of having to rent a box here make sure you write down and save your keypad code. Otherwise, you could try talking to customer service. CS is a video call with a representative who will get you your code. But today, you would have been out of luck because that door was locked. Updates to the app don't help either. So, yeah that's my experience. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
