My score is for Kim, the onsite manager who was INCREDIBLE! On the other hand, the facility was deserving of a grade much lower - a 1 star. The storage unit we signed up for was AWFUL. It was VERY musty. When I discussed this with Kim, she was very apologetic about the smell and also ratified it. She worked very hard at trying to accommodate our needs with good pricing for a larger alternative unit. While the unit wasn’t as musty as our original, the building it was housed in was very musty and we elected to not chance the alternative unit and its potential impacts on our furniture. Kim did everything we could expect and is now working hard to refund our fees. She is customer centric, caring, and very communicative going the extra length to resolve our situation. The facility is in bad shape and caused us to rethink our storage strategy, even looking at storing our furniture in our home garage. ... Read more

I had a huge issue with the lock on my unit and was totally at a loss for how to fix things. Kim was AMAZING at talking through my options and helping me work out what the best solution was. She was kind and empathetic, but also did not make any promises that she couldn’t keep, which I really really appreciated (since it helped settle what the best solution was). She turned a stressful time into a good experience and was above and beyond helpful and kind. Thank you, Kim!! ... Read more

Kim is amazing and has been a light in a very hard 3 years. She always greets with a smile and a warm hello. Every time I am at the facility, she is either hustling working hard or helping customers in person or on the phone. You have a stellar staff member in her and she always keeps the grounds clean. So appreciate her!! ... Read more

You can rent a storage space anywhere- but what makes me keep coming back to Public Storage is the personable on-site management. Kimberlie, the property manager, is understanding of how chaotic the moving process can be. She has been so incredibly helpful and delightful to work with. I highly recommend storing your belongings at this location! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 6500 SW 110th Court has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
