I would never think to write a review about a storage unit until today. We moved all of our stuff out yesterday and removed the lock, with the intention of calling today to end our rental as we no longer need it. Well, before I could get around to call I get a call from Jay at the facility because they were doing a walkthrough and found our unit with no lock and emptied and were concerned. I explained that we were just about to call to end the rental and they took care of everything for me right then and there. Truly a company who cares about their clients and I will need a storage facility again in 8 months and they will get my business. Oh, yeah, the place is ultra clean, carts always available, and nice and cool temperature inside at all times. ... Read more

Annie was extremely patient, helpful, and accommodating with assisting me with opening up my new storage unit. Annie showed me around the area, and supported me with choosing the best size unit for me by allowing me to view different size spaces in different locations. I successfully rented a unit, purchased my lock and, was instructed on utilizing the online portal for future visits. Annie was a pleasure to work with, I would recommend this location for sure. ... -5000 stars, update 3/16 - they never provided me a storage unit. I am out $51 which is under dispute with my bank. The day I was supposed to move i was also the same day I went through the steps to move out since they never gave me a unit. And now they sent me a collection for $30. So they are claiming I'm total for 5 seconds of their time and never getting a unit they can just have $81 from me. Stay far away from these scam artists. Original post January 24th - there is a lock on my unit and I cannot move my stuff in. The property manager is not returning my calls. Customer service offered me another unit but I would have to pay for another lock. They have already stolen $51 from me on the unit that they were supposed to have ready for me. This place is running illegal business practices and will be reported. Do not use this facility ... Read more

Stopped in to the KoP location to pay my bill (first time @ that location) & i was greeted by Annie. Annie is knowledgeable, friendly, patient and kind! I needed to not only pay for the month but also to make some changes. She offered her time to help with additional things; anyone else would have brushed me off or been disgruntled, but she wasn’t!! She literally could not have been any nicer!! Thank you again Annie!! ... Read more

Today I rented a unit from the Bridgeport Public Storage. Nicole handled the leasing of the unit I rented. She was very efficient and thorough about everything that needed to be done regarding the paperwork and renting the unit, and she helped me select the best unit for my storage needs. She was very friendly yet highly professional. I went to several other Storage companies in the area and even closer to where I lived, but Nicole’s was far more thorough and didn’t seem rushed in answering all my questions. I would highly recommend using the Bridgeport Public Storage for all your storage and moving needs. A.G. Fletcher ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 125 Boro Line Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
