You told me to get in contact with you guys, but I tried to get in contact with you guys and it keeps sending me back to that island Avenue please I don’t wanna talk to nobody there. I don’t wanna talk to no manager. I wanna talk to the person that’s in charge because it does not make sense that my things was stolen and I was not compensated. I got a police report and everything and I was not compensated, not only was my thing stolen once my things was stolen twice and it’s not fair. Then the lady say that is nothing she can see on the camera because the videos is not saved. Why do y’all have cameras in the police if they all can’t save the videos and go back to see who took people stuff. I bet when I went there to take my things out that homeless lady that was sleeping in that unit had all my stuff if not, the lady who works there had all my things That was hundreds of dollars and products things I used to make extra money for my family and half of my stuff is gone and nobody could tell me nothing but whoever read these reviews say getting in touch. Well let me tell you something. Mel can’t do shit for me. All she is as a manager. She can’t direct me to the people that own this place or anything with a poor business this is and I hope whoever reads this do not please I beg do not store any of your things at Island Avenue in Philadelphia. you said someone was going to get back to me concerning my matter and it’s been a whole month or more. No one got back to me yet. Let me just tell you this my stuff was in a lean process. They cut the lock off I understand, but why wasn’t no one able to see who went into my storage bin not one time but two times I came in. I paid the link. I noticed my TV was gone and my upstairs one I paid the link I put new locks on it went to lean again I came in. I paid the link and again somebody went in my storage install hundreds of dollars roof of my small business supplies and I was not compensated. Nobody called me Nothing it’s very sad and I hope no one ever rents from this place. I hope no one ever go into a hardship and not be able to pay their things in time before I get someone to leave because if y’all got cameras, why nobody seeing who went in my stuff. ... Read more

I originally posted a terrible experience with this facility, but was asked to take it down after they “fixed” the problem. In May of this year I recently discovered that a majority of my things were destroyed by mold, rat droppings and urine. Rats had chewed through my things and crapped all over it. The units aren’t climate controlled so mold then got to my things. Half of my stuff has to be thrown away. I had left a bad review and they eventually pacified me by giving me a different unit. I’m still having the same issue and now they’re doubling the rent. You can barely get anyone to answer the phone or actually show up in the office. You’re better off getting great customer service at a graveyard. The rodent problem is abhorrent. They advertise climate controlled units? A fat Faison lie. Your things will have mold on them, rat droppings or rat urine. It’s filthy. And now they’re raising the rent from $90 to $185. DO NOT RENT HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I’d give negative stars if I could. ... Read more

I was storing my things on island Avenue and once I went to take my stuff out of storage after I noticed my TV was missing and the insurance never paid for my TV. Then when I moved into my new house, I noticed a lot of other things were missing Like my coach bags, my granddaughter’s clothes, my son, clothes and other things like my crafts and all that stuff was missing. I really believe it was the manager that did these things. They also allow a homeless woman to sleep. because when I went to retrieve my things, it was a homeless woman laying inside of one of the storage units. I said something to the manager, not once, but twice the first time she stated that she told the woman about being in there the second time she stated the woman had a storage there, but this woman was sleeping in one of the bigger storage units with maybe 89 bags probably was my things, but I never approached her about it because I didn’t know that much of my stuff was missing until I moved into my house and started unpacking You can never get in contact with the district manager or the people that own the place and I that’s not fair ... No matter what name this place is under, the service is absolutely horrible. I went their, they said they will return at 2:30, it's 3:40 and no one has returned . If you contact customer service they're absolutely useless as well and just makes excuses. The only reason why I continue doing business is because of the location, however competition was around I would definitely left a long time ago. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
