I have a storage unit at Public’s Storage. What I like about this place is that you drive into the building to unload. If it’s raining or snowing or even hot you are protected from the outside elements. It’s clean and it has a bathroom handy on the first floor. I give it a 10 out of 10! Thanks ?? ... Read more

EDIT : I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 4. Jim was able to assist me in my financial needs and helped me with a discount. I greatly appreciate him- thank you Jim !! When I first started renting at Public Storage I was being charged $170 monthly. Now I’m charged $340 monthly and an extra $63 in late fees when I pay late. The rates increase tremendously. It was easy to move in and the remote door opener is great when it works. ... Read more

Gosh, where to start? I have a lot of frustration with some things that could only be addressed at corporate-level, but one thing is very certain: If every person were more like the employee Tim, the world would be a better place. Over 4 years with our unit, we saw prices slowly hit ridiculous levels— going from $83 to $300. We were in the process of closing out our unit. On the last run of the last day, I spilled a small amount of liquid soap on our unit floor. Since I made the mess, I wanted to clean it, and Tim allowed me to borrow a bucket and mop (he repeatedly offered to do it for me, but again, my mess is my job). Later, after another comically bad mishap of my own design, Tim bailed me out again, this time in the pouring rain outside the facility. He never got frustrated or made me feel like an inconvenience (even though I was), and if I was paying for his service alone, I could justify the cost of the unit. I can’t express enough how kind he was, or how helpful he was on a very stressful day where I just could not get it together. Be the Tim you wish to see in the world. ... Read more

Laura is amazing; she was responsive to my needs and took her time to be patient with me. This is the first time that I've received such excellent service. She was patient, took time with me and solved the issue while I was on the phone with her. Thanks to her I will remain a customer of this location. Give her a raise! ... Read more

Laura was very helpful. I was worried that my credit card had been removed from autopay. But I had simply read the email incorrectly. She was kind enough to double check the system for me as well as confirm the correct card was being used. ... Read more

My experience from the beginning to the end with PS has been nothing but wonderful. Debra is always attentive and ready to help. I had a 10x20 climate controlled unit on the first floor. The unit was always cooled/heated accordingly to the Season. We stored our whole house there and when the time came to move our belongings out to the new place, everything was in perfect conditions. Electronics included. They keep the place clean, dry, humidity-controlled, rodent-free and well illuminated at all times. Not once I found something out of place, dirty or not working. The app is comprehensive and easy to use. You can open the big rolling doors with it or use a code on the pad next to them. Those said doors are always clean and in working order. They have strong big carts at your disposal at no extra cost. I have recommended this storage company to everyone I know. If I ever need a storage unit again, this will be the place. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
