Staff is very friendly and the process is so quick, they offer the free move in truck Which is very helpful, the only downside is that we had to move on a weekday because they don’t rent the truck on the weekend but overall a great experience ... Read more

I would highly recommend!! I drove 5 hours up to Pittsburgh to move my daughter out of her dorm. I rented a storage unit to put the bulk of her things in with another storage facility. When we got there they had no power to access the indoor storage units or their computer system. I was told because of major power outages that it could potentially be 5 days before the power came back. I was stuck. I only had that day to move her out. I called EZ storage from the parking lot. They were extremely understanding, and said they could help me out. Once I got there, the office staff was so friendly and helpful. They even looked at all the stuff in my car and told me what unit would fit it all then walked me to the unit to see it before I rented it. They truly were my saviors that day ... Read more

In need of a storage space for some boxes, I traveled out on McKnight Road where I knew there were storage places. The first one I came to was up a driveway and ended in a gate. I looked for a call button, or even a phone number to reach the office, but could not find either. I went on my phone and found a number, called it, was put on hold, and when I finally connected with someone, she said she would open the gate, but never did. I decided to look at the other storage place which happened to be EZ Storage on Ross Park Mall Drive and I thanked my guardian angel for directing me there. I called at the number on the web site, got connected to a young lady named Elizabeth, (Betty), who directed me to the front gate and from the minute I pulled in I knew I was at a better place to do business. Maryann, one of the on-site managers, was outside and asked how she could help me and I told her I had spoken to Betty and she directed me to the office. I then experienced what was gold standard customer service. Betty is a lovely, competent representative of this company. She walked me through the process of renting just what I required, explained how the fifty percent off deal for two months worked, and cheerfully chatted with me during the process. Nowadays, this is rare. The office is efficient, clean and inviting, as is the landscaping of the grounds. My storage space was clean, and Maryann walked me to it and showed me how to maneuver the door and lock space, leaving me to unload my boxes, and with room to spare. Since I arrived today with my car loaded and ready to unpack, I received a twenty-five dollar Giant Eagle gift card provided on the day you move in. Meeting people who genuinely care about the service they are providing and do a stellar job at it was wonderful, and it made what can be a stressful moving experience a little less so. My advice on using a storage facility? Pass by the first one, and head toward the McDonalds and turn onto Johnanna Drive, where it is a short drive to the back entrance and office of EZ Storage. The street has even fixed the dip that used to be on the road and was treacherous to your car suspension. You will not be disappointed. How rare is that in today's world, I ask you? ... Read more

What an excellent experience in every way! The location is perfect along my usual route on McKnight Road. The customer service was always prompt, clear, friendly, and gracious. The facility was impeccably maintained, directions were thorough and clear, and the storage unit was exactly what I needed for the two months I used it. Despite missing the deadline of the 20th of the month to inform them of a move out and being prepared to pay for the extra month, they quickly noticed that the lock was not on my unit and that I had cleared it out. They immediately reached out to ask if I had vacated and after hearing my explanation, were kind enough not to charge me for the following month. The level of care and vigilance displayed in their business practices was above and beyond and professional in every way. Thank you so much! ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
