Theres a reason they are number 1 !! Kelly is always on top of her job with prompt professionalism in a day and age where thats hard to find. I made the mistake of leaving after a year and had to scramble to get a new unit , down the road( i wont call them out but it was an absolute nightmare, its two miles down the road with the water fill station in front, CORPORATE JOKE !!!! Stay away) , the mom and pop aspect with Kelly handling business is what makes this storage company the BEST IN TOWN. Take it from a business man who's had storage units all across the country while i work with clients!! Thank you Kelly , dealing with you is a breath of fresh air in a very stale corporate world!! YOUR THE BEST !!! ?? ... Read more

I grew in tr and lived in tr my whole life. I was in the market to relocate my belongings to a closer storage company due to constant price increase. Swamp rabbit storage was highly recommended for some weird reason they run background check without acknowledging the customer and apparently if you smoke weed and have a speeding ticket from 2 years ago what joke they will deny your business. I was just looking for a place to store my belongings I wasn’t looking for a job. This place is quick to judge people. They don’t even have on the web site that they run background checks who the heck runs background checks for a storage units ? I would understand if a person had theft and robbery charges but come on weed and speeding ticket get a grip it’s 2024 simple possession of weed is a traffic ticket they act like I robbed a bank. I should really look into legal action against this place so it doesn’t happen to others. ... Read more

Furman Parents - store your Dins "stuff" at Swamp Rabbit Storage. My son is entering his senior year at Furman University. We have used Swamp Rabbit during his time at school. It is very convenient location, the units are clean, and the manager, Kelle, is great to work with. She is honest, helpful, and informative. When I first contacted Swamp Rabbit, I was convinced I needed a climate-controlled unit. She asked me a few questions about what we were storing then, based on this information, counselled against the more expensive option. Their prices are fair and competitive. I would give them 6-stars but 5-stars is the only option. Go Dins and Swamp Rabbit! ... Read more

Swamp Rabbit Storage is conveniently located, well maintained, and offers reasonable rates and 24-hour on-site security. I looked at many storage facilities in the area and Swamp Rabbit Storage was by far the best choice. I highly recommend it as the safest place in the area to store your belongings, and the process of securing, maintaining, and vacating a storage unit is streamlined and professionally handled. The owner/manager is customer-oriented and communicates clearly about the terms of the contract and is very fair in working through any issue that may arise. My experience with Swamp Rabbit Storage gave me peace of mind, which is why I will definitely look there first for any storage needs in the future. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Swamp Rabbit Storage - 1000 Geer Hwy has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
