the prices have went up since they took ownership of 1 of their locations and they have a lot of shootings around and people live in storage units at times as you go to yours see people walking in the gated area they do not have a local person on premises to help out. The gate gets stuck open a lot and anyone can drive or walk in and the back of the fence unit is not secure ... Read more

I highly recommend you Do NOT use KO Storage. SPECIFICALLY the Highway 58 location. My unit broken into Thursday or Friday night before Easter. I discovered this Saturday afternoon. They got in without cutting my lock by pushing door sideways and out of the slot that "supposedly" secures lock into place. The main number told me that the property manager had been notified however she does works M-F. Even though my unit was clearly unable to secure it was not an emergency situation. The burglary left many manynthings missing. I don't even know what all is missing because they completely trashed and vandalized what they did not take. AS I EXPECTED... they continued to come back and go through my things only a nightly basis. I had the property manager phone number and email because of the raccoons in my ceiling. Which she eventually remedied a piece of tape over a small hole in the ceiling. I called and left messages ( she would not answer my calls) and sent daily emails. Explaining they keep coming back and my belongings are unsafe. ..Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday....same story. Finally heard from her on Thursday and she put a new latch on and the tape over the hole to take care of the raccoon problem. No explanation, apology, or concern for the loss and destruction of my things. Oh, she did say, I don't work weekends. I check my unit daily, and seen highly suspicious individuals there. Advertises security cameras, and gated entrance which requires a pin number. Yet they don't know anything. Hmmmm mynwas not the only unit broken into. Sometimes the security gate is just left wide open all night. To top it off... The renters insurance that KO REQUIRES AND AUTOMATICALLY ensures you withn "Badder Insurance" And adds AUTOMATICALLY to your bill..... Not even BBB Accredited. (BETTER Business Bureau) The highest review I saw (I read ALOT) is ..1. ONE!!!!! The list of coverage exclusions is over a half page. Single spaced. So I would pass....run actually from this so called storage facility. GEEKERS PARADISE ... Read more

Great hidden gem that offers the very best value and convenience for safe self storage if you’re a 58’er!!!! With new ownership, management, along with significant upgrades to security and electronic access systems, this ain’t the place it used to be. But it just so happens to be located within the same GPS coordinates, so it’s new but it’s bricks and mortars are not. “If walls could talk”…. they’d probably say: This location has new reliable and local site manager so it feels like, and you’ll be treated with the same courtesies of, a mom-and-pop shop—— but with the new ownership being an experienced, well run, and well funded behemoth holding an interest in over 1,000 storage-related entities; your customer payment, account support, and online portal systems; and of course the actual safety, are world-class. Bet. ... Read more

My boat was stolen from a secure location in Chattanooga and the response from KO storage has been terrible. I received a call from a regional manager who assured me we would be in constant contact and he hasn't returned any of my phone calls. The local representative had terrible customer service skills and to top it off they have people living in their units. I would look elsewhere.. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
