They raise rent pretty significantly and somewhat frequently, and the big reason I’m writing this is because they have a mouse and likely rat problem. There is poop both small and larger all over everything in my unit and they have chewed through a garden hose we had. Initially there was a smallish hole chewed in, but when I came back two days later it was over twice the size. I told the employee in the office when I noticed it at first and he just blankly stared at me, and told me they were aware and someone stored food in their unit, but he seemed unconcerned and as far as I can tell no attempts to trap have been made. Now I have to sterilize everything or throw the items chewed through away which is going to mean the unit itself was somewhat pointless. Also I did not make them aware but there was some kind of roof leak and rusty water now has stained the top of the wedding dress I was storing. ... Read more

I recently had the opportunity to interact with Manager Gabriella at Istorage, and I must say that my experience was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Gabriella displayed a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. She took the time to understand my storage needs and provided tailored solutions that fit my requirements perfectly. ... Read more

I have rented here for a year and a half and had to downsize my unit because the rent keeps going up and they won't let you sign a longer term lease so that they can keep raising it. My rent has gone from $99 to now $188 for a 10x10 unit and if I was to rent the same space online today, it would be $103 (for the first month at least). They have bathrooms and they are locked so you can't even use them. I have an indoor climate controlled unit that has an air conditioning unit that floods when the weather is hot outside. I had to move my unit because it flooded. We are moving immediately. Ridiculous! After receiving the feedback (below) from iStorage, I did reach out to them with my concerns and they offered to give me a small discount for the upcoming month (for my trouble) and then the rate would go up to the quoted rate of $188/month in the next month. I'm not sure how long that would stick before they raised it again since it is usually anywhere from 3-5 months before another $10 to $20/month raise in rent. However, the same unit is advertised online for $147/month as of last night. They let me know that because my lease is month to month (and they don't have an option for any longer - how convenient for them) then they do have the ability to raise it. Clearly, I understand that is their racket. They get you in and then start raising your rent. I printed out my bank statement and my rent has gone from $121/month to $188/month in the past year. BUYER BEWARE, they will give you a discount and get you in and they will start raising the price by month 3. After you have done all of the moving labor, you will not want to do that again and that $10 increase will not seem to large . . . until it keeps happening and you realize that you are paying as much for your 10 x 10 unit as the new person with the 10 x 20 unit. That's how they treat their loyal customers. When I gave them my notice that I will be moving today, they asked me how they could change my mind. I said, "Give me the same rate as anyone else with that unit (they shouldn't be different prices for different customers for the same space just because I've been there longer) and let me sign a year lease that you will not raise my rates for at least a year (like your competitor down the street) and I'll stay. I was told that they "don't price match". Therefore, I told him that I have no loyalty or emotional attachment to them and since they don't think that treating loyal clients as valuable is important, then I will be moving on to someone who will. ... Awful, awful, awful. They sign you up with a low rent amount, and then raise it each month. When we started, it was $132 per month, and now it’s $188 per month. They reward you for staying with them for a while and paying rent on time with charging you more than a new renter. Absolutely terrible! We are moving our stuff to another company. **If you notice below, the "manager" said to call him because they take this seriously. Umm, no. We did and they basically said, they are going to keep raising the rent month after month, due to demand. New people get a low rate, once you've been loyal to them, they raise it and raise it and raise it. Also, I forgot, they closed (locked) their bathrooms so we can't use them while there. Companies that operate on a we will charge you whatever we want and don't care enough about you as a human to at least give you access to the bathroom are companies you should RUN away from. ... Could not be happier with their customer service. I moved on Thanksgiving day and they were available to get me my gate code and unit number in minutes despite my own poor planning. Also very easy to get through to a real person when you call. Storage facility itself is clean, easily accessible and in a very convenient location. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
