I've had storage here since 2012. Prices for storage was reasonable, however the price increased nearly $30. Other than the price increase I have to admit I've always been treated nice, never rude or obnoxious staff. Unlike some places they give you a heads up if you forgot to pay on time, instead of locking you out. ... Read more

We were in the process of closing on our house and we're moving out of our apartment. We were staying in a hotel and brought all of our belongings to this storage unit minus a few things like my couch and hutch that I left at my parents thank god. Two weeks after bringing our stuff here in the "new" units, we had to go back and get some things. We found roaches every where. I took a picture and sent them to my pest control guy, and they were the wonderful infesting German roaches. I informed the owner, and he says they've never had this issue, well I've never had roaches. The owner said to let him know if my pest guy treating them gets rid of them. Well it took about two more weeks to get ahold of the owner after we treated the unit. He said I'm sorry there's nothing I can do about, wouldn't give me a discount wouldn't help pay for it. We had to throw our mattress and box spring out. When we moved we had to put everything on the porch treat our brand new house and go through everything individually. I have $150 dollar jackets ruined , spent 200 on pest control services and 110 on the unit itself. And they also don't send you a bill or anything reminding you to pay your dues for the month. I was not impressed with the customer service and the infestation issue that we were involved in. But with time money lost items and hard work we are roach free at our new house. It was a headache never use this unit. ... Read more

I have dealt with this storage facility a couple years ago and had a great experience. I decided that when I was looking to move this year that I would go with this company again. And let me just say it was a big mistake! The owner is a crook and I highly suggest that everyone looking to deal with him run the other direction maybe toward the storage facility at the skating rink or any where else but DO NOT go here! ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

  • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
  • Perishable food
  • Live plants or animals
  • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables

Always check with the facility at 430 Heil Quaker Avenue for specific restrictions and recommendations.
