I’ve been a long term customer and have never complained about this place. However, with the implementation of the new security device inside the unit has me slightly perturbed. I don’t understand why it is necessary for the added “protection” when 1, I have insurance that covers theft or anything else and 2, it states in the contract that you are not responsible for any damage or theft to the contents of the unit. So why must I pay double for protection of my contents? This seems to be an unnecessary and questionable business practice! And not to mention, I’m paying for a device that isn’t even in my unit. ... Bree is the best!!! I showed up with a truck load of stuff and needed a small ac unit asap. She helped me chose the right size for my needs at the right price I could afford. She provided me a dolly to unload my truck. They had the locks there too. She went thru all the paperwork, which was super simple, and within 30 minutes I was unloading my truck into the storage unit. I was remodeling a craft room/office and wanted to empty the room to begin with. She made the process very simple. The place is very clean and my unit was very accessible because of its location. I would recommend this place! ... Read more

Never ever hold your items here!!! DO NOT TRUST! This company will raise rent on you, they will not keep their word to you, Constantly have security issues! They want to drip you for every dime you have and Consistently belittle you and treat you with disrespect when you try to get more information. They raise prices, but do not fix their QR codes or phone numbers that are on display nor their website. Within the last 3/4 months this entire company did a 180 and I will never be returning. Please be aware that they also own other storage units within Brazoria county!!!! ... Read more

Husband and I have been with Nest for a little over a year. Went in today to talk about transferring to a larger unit and Chris made it easy and painless. When we moved to this place our previous storage had been broken into twice and we lost a bunch of valuable stuff. Having our things at Nest is worry free. They stay in contact with us at all times about our unit. Thank you so much Chris for making our life easier. ... Read more

My unit was destroyed in Hurricane Beryl. I didn’t realize this as the initial notice I received said that they had experienced some damage. I prepaid for August in mid-July not knowing that they were no longer providing adequate, closed and covered storage. The roof had blown off and the ceilings inside the storage room had been damaged, allowing water to pour inside the storage unit from the storm and the week or so of rain that followed. I finally received another notice via email on 7/24 that my unit had been damaged and we were cleared to come onsite to check the contents. My first opportunity to have a vehicle to transport anything in case it could be salvaged was on 8/1. This is the day the payment was due. I removed three plastic totes. I lost everything else. While I do not blame them for the damage, I do have issue that when I stopped to tell them I took the few things I could salvage and asked for my August rent to be refunded, he said, “We are already in August.” At first, he said I hadn’t paid but I was able to see the confirmation in my email and where it had cleared my bank. Then he also found it in the system. When I asked to speak to the owner, he said they don’t do that. And that he would ask her. He took none of my information to contact me, so I knew nothing was going to be done. Just like no steps were taken to at least tarp the roof of any damaged units to somewhat help prevent more water from getting inside the units. I mean, it wasn’t their stuff that was being damaged by continued rain. They just planned to keep my early payment. Things were much better before the current ownership. There were occasional small increases in the payment, but it was increased pretty regularly after the new ownership took over and in larger increments. So, if you choose to rent from them, be prepared for rate increases and pay the day it’s due. If something happens to your unit, don’t expect anything other than for them to keep your money. Update: After leaving my review, I was contacted by the company, and they refunded my August payment and the original deposit I paid to the previous owner when I first rented the unit. ... Read more

Good place to store your stuff they have good insurance policies you can get to protect your things in the units. As well as the older gentleman that works the office was really nice and helpful even came out and offered me a bottle of water while I was moving my things in the heat. After moving out my belongings I became aware they have a massive wood roach problem and ant problem in their outside units as well as some time of leak of which they didn't even know what it was. ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
