Gary was great in helping me solve a problem. The easiest self storage solution I’ve ever experienced. Great customer service and willingness to help their customers through the process. Go storage will always have me as a customer. 10/10 customer satisfaction! ... Read more

If the system would allow me to give zero stars it would be an accurate rating. I have been a tenant of Go Store It since 2022. I have had several rate changes and finally decided it was time to move. I called to notify GSI of my intent to move and spoke with a very nice representative that offered me a better rate for another unit. I accepted and was told I needed to be moved by the 4th. I paid the transfer fee and hired movers. I arrived on the 4th with my movers only to find locks on my units. Placed a call to a supervisor named Parvin who provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was told I must pay the $300 monthly amount to have the locks removed. GSI would not acknowledge the original rep told me this nor would they make any acceptions even considering I was simply moving into another GSI unit. $300 for four days and two hours of labor with the movers just for showing up. Bottom line, GSI provides a decent storage facility with increasing prices and maintains basic amenities except for when one of the elevators was out of order at the time I moved in costing me more in moving costs. It stayed out of order for four months. Customer service is flat out poor! I would not recommend Go Store it for your long term storage needs. ... Read more

Today was nice in day for me at Go Store It. I signed up online by encountered a problem once I reached the premises. I called and was connected to Melric. He was able to help me transfer to a bigger storage that was in a more convenient location. I really appreciated his fast and efficient customer I was able to move into the unit I preferred. Thank you, Melric! ... Read more

Update. We finally got into our storage unit. Come to find out that it has been burglarized. There are possessions that are not even ours in the unit and significant number of r stuff is missing but the management claims nobody's been in there and that the locks were not changed. It's either fraudulent, malpractice or incompetence. Do not rent here The worst customer service. No one is ever onsite and foreign-based heavily accented call center customer support that promises to contact you back within a day or two. I can't wait to get my stuff out of here. They love collecting their money, but when you need them for something, it's a different story. ... Read more

I’ve had a great experience with Go Store It so far. The facility is clean, secure, and easy to access, which gives me peace of mind knowing my belongings are safe. The staff has been friendly and responsive whenever I’ve had questions, and the process to get set up was quick and smooth. Overall, it’s been a reliable and stress-free storage option. I would definitely recommend Go Store It to anyone needing extra space. ... Read more

All of my storage bins and moving supplies were stolen from my unit, yet everything else was left untouched. My lock showed no signs of damage, so it seems someone picked it. Until management addresses the ongoing security issues, I would not recommend storing anything here. The loading doors are often broken, making it easy for anyone to enter, and one of the elevators doesn’t require an access code, allowing unauthorized individuals to move freely throughout the facility. ... I had a terrible experience with this storage facility. My unit was broken into, and over $5,000 worth of my belongings were stolen including electronics, work equipment, and other valuable items. I was notified by email on Monday, October 13, about the break-in, and when I arrived, I found my unit tampered with and some random items left behind that weren’t mine. What’s worse is that there was no staff available in the front office to help or provide any immediate assistance. This place clearly lacks proper security and management. I strongly do not recommend anyone storing their belongings here it’s not safe and the customer service is very poor. ... Read more

Move storage from Plano to Dallas, found this online deal after searching storage facilities in the area. 2 Months Free and $77 per month after. After the first full month payment at $77; get an email that my rental rate goes up to $99 per month. So know that this rate is a gotcha rate, to get you into the facility. And of course their reasoning is, just with any other rental property, is due to "upkeep, maintenance, and location" of the facility. We all know, that maintenance and upkeep for a rental storage facility is not going to be increasing every 6-12 months to justify rental rates to increase, and this area of Dallas is all warehouse manufacturing, so there have been no property increases. So understand the terms with you rent, its not what it is advertised to be. They "got me" and I just don't want to keep moving my storage from place to place. ... Read more

Everything was quick. Everything was easy. I got my confirmation over email. I got my code over email and instructions on how to get into my unit. The facility is nice and clean. They even have carts to take all of your stuff up-and-down. The elevators, are great! Very nice facility. Very well cleaned. Can't wait until I can recommend to all of my friends! And the best part is I didn't even have to pay for a lock and i'm paying less than 10 bucks for a storage unit! ... Read more

Tried to tour a unit today. Right off the bat it was a no from me. No front desk, no real people to speak to. We stood and started at a screen for about seven or so minutes before a “virtual manager” logged on. Here’s what we learned: Although the list price online is $84 for a 10x10 unit that’s not even on ground floor, they have an administration fee AND a fee if you want it actually locked (who doesn’t?) which bumps your monthly up to about $150 total. They will also raise the rates every 4-5 months. The guy was polite enough I guess, then gave us a “temporary code” to see ourselves in and look at the unit. Couldn’t figure out how to get in the gate, had to wait for someone to leave from inside so we could go through. Then the code didn’t work. We couldn’t get in, it was just too much hassle. I can’t imagine actually having to store stuff here. Will be choosing a different option. ... Read more

DO NOT RENT HERE. My unit was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of stuff was stolen. There’s blood all over my stuff from where they cut themselves breaking in. Lock was broken. Stuff was thrown everywhere. A ladder was left in the my unit that’s is not mine. I’m guessing they used it to break in the top. I saw blood in front of a couple of other units so I’m sure I’m not the only one!! I will be getting the police involved. They consistently raise rent prices for stuff to be easily stolen and no one notices??? ... Read more

This place is okay in terms of quality of area to store stuff. They have had some maintenance issues which is annoying and that limited their hours from 9-5 for a good while. The thing that is annoying to me is that they have twice raised the rent price for no reason. I just got the email on this and it’s pretty freaking annoying that they would do that. The first time they did it was annoying but I figured the price was kind of okay still and I had been in a few months and just couldn’t go back in and remove everything, so I kept things. Now though, they are trying to pull this a second time. I can’t imagine what costs you are incurring that need a $30 increase in rent on a storage facility, up from another $20ish dollar increase earlier in the year. This is all in one year, folks. So if money is no object to you then I guess have at it. Otherwise the place has been fairly decent in terms of security and all. Bring some ear plugs or something though cause the carts they have for people to use are obnoxiously loud in a big metal warehouse. ... Read more

I found Go Store It through one of the sites that sends your search information to a bunch of companies to compete for your business. The rate they return seemed too good to be true but I jumped on it with all my fingers and toes crossed! Surprise! It was true! The rate they returned was not only true but for a few dollars more I could get rental insurance also! The signup process was easy. There were all these red flag type things happening but everything they advertised was true and I had no issues! I was even able to pay up for 6 months and when the renewal came it was higher but they warned about this during the initial signup and when it was three months in case I wanted to cancel and find another place prior to my renewal. The increase was still doable so I stayed. And as my luck would have it, disaster did strike because of Texas Bipolar weather! Go Store It Management was on top of the damage and getting us into new units and no additional cost. A lot of people lost everything but I was lucky and only lost one item. But that didn't matter to Go Store It...whether I lost one of all, they gave me a new unit moved all my stuff for me! I know people have had complaints but under such dire circumstances they did a stellar job! I am grateful for all they did! I like the facility and the security they have. You can't even go use the restroom without your code! If something bad has happened to you or your unit, its because of other tenants blatant disrespect and disregard for the security measures set forth. So, don't blame Go Store It...they did their part and then some!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Go Store It - 2500 Lone Star Drive has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Go Store It - 2500 Lone Star Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 4 to 500 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Go Store It - 2500 Lone Star Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $5 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $244 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
