Read some helpful reviews of Macho Self Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Been a loyal renter of a 10x30 climate controlled unit for over 3 years. Paying $325.00 a month and due to circumstances beyond my control I can't pay 1 month out of 36 months and they lock me out and charge me $25 extra late fee. They have no customer loyalty it's very obvious I have paid thousands of dollars and I can't get one month of help from waxahachie macho. The new management is horrible. ... Read more

Facility started out to be quite enjoyable. However as time dragged on we came to find that the people who ran it Linda and Randy, are critical and deceiving about the proper procedures. They claimed that at one time we had walked up all the spaces and block the driveway when in fact we did none of that. But others that actually did we're not given the same consternation as we were. They single people out and intend to be very very judgmental. ... Read more

2nd-cheapest storage facility around (the cheapest is across the street from a strip club and didn't give me a great feeling). Constant video surveillance of the property coupled with diligent watchfulness on part of Randy & Linda who run it makes this a very secure facility, in my opinion. Easy online payment by credit card. Downside #1, they're about a half-mile from some kind of a landfill or mulching yard, so on humid mornings you get a good smell of it -- I'd say this has been the case on less than 5% of my visits. Downside #2, I hate the new name; "Pack & Stack" was much cooler (nothing else changed, just the name, thanks to some loon up in Corporate). ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.
