Do not rent here under any circumstances. Been renting here for over a year. Started out good. Now, I’m sitting outside - on a Friday during office hours, with no one here, no way to access my business unit, and no way to contact anyone. This is the 4th time this has happened during business hours on a weekday in the last 2 weeks. Save yourself from a fate worse than eternal fiery nightmare of a fate possibly worse than h ell. When you arrive, expect that it will be inaccessible. If you’re in luck, you might be able to get inside. Do not attempt to contact the staff. You will only waste your time. Corporate is impossible to get ahold of, ever. Use AMEX or a card so you can dispute the charges under Reg E/D/F for merchant failure to deliver goods and / or services as promised. You literally may be better off just setting your stuff for storage here on fire and letting it burn wherever that may be legal. Or taking all your stuff to the dump. I’ve never encountered such a terrible situation. you want to store on fire before ever using this location. It is never staffed. Unprofessionally managed. With access unavailable constantly and no communication from office staff 24 hour access means nothing and regular access hours mean nothing. There are a considerable amount of constant maintenance issues despite this being a newer facility. The design of the building has an overhead door in the front and back. It is either constantly broken damaged or otherwise they do not seem to have the ability to keep track of the two carts they have so you’ll need to figure that out for yourself. The facility has many leaks. Do not use this facility. ... Read more

As of the last 6-8 months approximately, this place is nothing as advertised. It’s hard to find an employee actually present on site for assistance. Most times I go their office is empty, the chair is pushed in and the computer screen is off. For just about the majority of the past year the building has not been secured…either the entrance bay door or the exit bay door (or both) have always stayed open. For several months one of the elevators was out of service. Then the entrance bay door was out of service so no access to our units. Then the exit bay door wouldn’t open so you’d be stuck in the building unless you drive the wrong way out of the entrance bay. You’ll see fire alarms hanging or ripped off the walls too. Dollies / carts no where to be found either. And now there is a big mosquito problem on the ground floor, and water pooling on the floors. They tried to increase my rent once but I immediately disputed it. I have had enough and am pulling my things out ... Read more

They rip people off. They give you a good price in the beginning. After 6 months, they raise it 50 bucks. And then after another 6 months it's another 50 bucks. And for a $100 storage you're paying 200. They are a rip-off and they don't give any breaks. And they also charge you a $30 Admin fee on top that they'll charge you for a lock if you don't have it. So. Yes, they are a rip-off. And as soon as they raise my storage again, I will be moving to another storage. ... Read more

I moved into this building after I was wrongly evicted by Cortland Bear Creek Apts. Not only did they not have dollies available, but management was never there. On the last day of the move-in, we had to look all over the storage facility for the push dollies b/c the manager was never on site & the few they had were locked inside the office. Luckily, I found one on the complete opposite side of the building. The bathrooms were disgusting & they had homeless people living in them. The plumbing was obviously backed up because whomever dropped a goose egg in the toilet clogged the entire building. Disgusting! Lastly, when moving out, which I did not authorize and my only emergency contact was an attorney, they still allowed people to move my belongings. My thought is this: what if someone had stolen their identity & the little bit of belongings I had left would’ve been stolen and never accounted for! I highly do not recommend this location! ... Update March 2024: I had to go through the regional vice president to gain access to the facility after hours. He was kind and offered me a free month of rent, and made sure I had access for the days and times I needed. It's still crazy to me that I need a VP to gain access with all the access technology this place has. According to the VP they made the decision to close after hours access at some point but despite being able to contact their tenants via phone, app, email, and mail there is only a paper notice when you arrive. When we returned during hours to clean out our unit the facility is still filthy, elevators still fight you, and the lady at the front had to let us and a couple of others out of the garage area when we were done because the sensor to get out was not working. Which seems like a fire hazard or maybe the beginning of a B horror movie. I got out just in time because I got the notice of a rent increase for April 1st. Going up again from what was $59 less than 2 years ago to $116 currently and now $145 in April. I recommend you find a house or an apartment with a garage, because this place isn't worth it. Update February 2024: Are they finally going to fix the gate? Hallways are still filthy, but MAYBE we'll be able to access the gate soon? See photos. Still no response from management about any of the issues but they want my feedback on paying on their app. ?? Update September 2023: So like others I got a three month reprieve on my rate hike, but now it's $116 a month. I don't know where the extra money is going because this place is going down hill a little more each time. One of the gates is always broken, and there's spills and trash everywhere now. Today two ladies at the desk watched the elevator give us and another group trouble, and literally sat and did nothing. This facility is beautiful, staff is great, they have dollies and carts, a covered unloading area, and reserving a space was easy. We have a 10 x 7.5 space. We started at $59 fourteen months ago. It went up to $86 in the Winter, and is increasing on July 1st to $116. I'm sure, like everything else their cost is going up, and that is what they will say but 100% in just over a year is a lot. For reference, I work in the restaurant industry so I am well aware of cost increases, but my diners are certainly not paying 100% more. I have asked them about the increase and been blown off. I feel cheated. They gave the low rate to get us in, and then have gone up exorbitantly from there. I have had storage units with every other company throughout my life, this is my first time with public storage and I do not recommend them. We'll be moving to a competitor as soon as possible. ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
