This place is a mess. The code box never works. Management never answers the phone to help go in or out of the gate. Last 3 times, I have not been able to go in the gate. Not sure why the emergency phone number available if no one answers the phone on Sundays. ... Read more

Tom works there and he is amazing! He is so very helpful, handy & reliable. Wish he worked full time. The storage is an older facility. Personally have had storage at A1 several years yet I have made it a point in the past to only go on his working days. The 5 stars are for customer service! ... Read more

The man allows people to live there , but only if they follow HIS rules , and Iam sure that the city of Garland would love to know this since there is no certificate of occupancy. He locks you in to where you can not leave. Then wants extra money to pay his bills. He says he is doing you a favor, but in actuality he his just a old man going through a midlife crisis. In saying that he wants to be in control. Live there but no visitors, of course not then people would know the secret of his own intentions. Pay more money then you can have guests. After that then no guests because you can't have people there ....so his way or no way. He of course wants u to accommodate him as well...do what he says or u get locked out or locked in. He will call the police one you because there is no contract and through u out and him under the bus.. I only wonder what the owner of said storage facility has to say about all this? The city of Garland would love to know all about the underground contraband going on in there, but that's neither here nor there moving on just saying....if you wanna know just call Rainbow...I will be sure to let you know all about it. I loved to talk 2 anyone who is willing 2 listen ....have a good day and good night...RAINBOW BRITE.!!! XOXOXO ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
